What is Sportingo?
Sportingo is an international sport community by and for fans. It is a website where sportswriters can submit articles that are carefully edited by professional editors and then posted online.

Anyone who is over the age of 18 can register and submit articles.

Sportingo allows everybody who loves sports to share their opinions with other fans and participate in numerous discussions, read and comment on recent articles, keep track of upcoming events and find detailed information about every event.
How can I use the What's Online area?
What’s Online is a remarkable feature you can use for watching or listening to live sports online. Just click What's Online in the top left corner of the window, choose the required event by clicking its title or the Get Details button. Click View or Listen, as appropriate. You will be redirected to the website containing the required media.
How does the search system work?
The search system is easy to use. Type a keyword in the search field and click the search icon 
. On the Search Results page you can see a list of articles that contain your keyword. If you want to find a media file in the What's Online area, specify the sport and time range (from one day to one month), type the keyword in the corresponding text box, and click Go. All media files matching your search criteria are displayed in a list.
How can I simplify navigation through articles?
There are some options which serve to simplify the process of finding and reading articles. The fast and easy way to add automatically updated headlines from the Sportingo community on your website is RSS feed. Click the RSS 
icon located at the bottom of an article. The list of the available feeds appears. Copy HTML code and place it on your website, blog, or forum.
Does the Sportingo support a bookmarking system?
If you want to store your bookmarks online, click the del.icio.us 
icon at the bottom of each article you want to mark for future reference. This allows you to access selected articles from any computer. When using del.icio.us, you can organize and remember your bookmarks, which is much more convenient than using folders.
How can I share the Sportingo content?
Sportingo is related with the Digg community. You can share the opinions, detailed information, and various media files stored on the Sportingo website with Digg users. To do so, click the Digg 
icon at the bottom of an article. You will be redirected to the Digg login page.
How can I manage articles?
You can print any article or send it to your friend by clicking the corresponding buttons located below the article.
How can I comment on the article?
To comment on an article
- Open the article you want to comment on.
- Click the Comment link at the bottom of the article page.
- On comment form that opens, specify your name, e-mail, and the heading of the comment.
- Enter the text of the comment.
- Optionally: If you want to display your favourite sport badge with your comment, choose the required option in the dropdown list. To display a football team badge, you need to select Football in the list of sports, choose the football league to which the team belongs, and then select the team.
- Click the Submit button to post the comment.
What is daily poll?
Every day you can take part in a daily poll. There is a subsection with a hot question on each page of the site. You can choose the desired variant from the list to answer the question and click Vote Now. You will see the results of the poll immediately.
How can I link my fan site to Sportingo?
To link your fan site or forum to Sportingo, click the link at the bottom of the article page. In the pop-up window, specify your name, e-mail, and forum information. Click Submit to send the request to the Sportingo administrator.
What is the author’s rank and how is the quality rating of an article calculated?
Each author has a rank that indicates how many articles the author has submitted. The quality rating of each article is calculated on the basis of readers' votes and the total number of views.
To rate an article on a scale from 1 to 5, highlight and click the stars 
under the article.
