For Aston Villa, the O'Neill revolution has only just begun
The Randy Lerner-Martin O'Neill combo has worked well and provided Villa can hang on to Gareth Barry, a top-five finish is on the cards next season.

This season has seen the real start of the Randy Lerner-Martin O’Neill revolution and the future looks bright for Aston Villa.
Regardless of whether Villa keep Gareth Barry the club is on the way up and with a little patience (a rare commodity in modern football) we could witness it returning to its previous position as one of the biggest clubs in the country.

With Arsenal about to lose some of their best players and Everton lacking buying power i can see a faint gap in the top 4. If anyone can do it i think we can. 4th place next season. UTV!

Birmingham are NOT our great rivals. They may be local but the are certainly not great and they will never rival Aston Villa. Henceforth describe them as our local bitter team.

i do believe thought to continue to push there are a few key things that villa needs 3. a good keeper, ether carson or another valued goalie. 2. add some to the defense, i love laurson, but his past isnt on his side, so get a decend backup or two. 1. keep Barry, he is the key right now, and to keep him i think we need about 7-10 good key players to come to the squad over summer. any options?
