About Graham Griffiths

I took early retirement 2 years ago after teaching English for 35 years. Rugby league has always been my first love, but in my younger days I played (to a very low standard!) rugby union and cricket. I have an educated interest in all sports, as well as being something of a geek, with my love of classical music and drama. I sing in two choirs and am interested in anything that gives me the chance to show off. I'm divorced with two daughters, 25 and 20. I like the opportunity to do some writing, as I like to think that's one of my strengths, which balances out my considerable weakness in anything that involves practical ability ot common sense. This is the reason for the gaps in this registration form, which have totally baffled me!

as has been said already, RL is the modern game, so if you want to be modern and up to date RL is the game for you but if you are stuck in the past all the time soccer or union are the games for you.

Soccer's failure to introduce cameras for goaline decisions is ridiculous. For example, the Vidic goal against Portsmouth. The decision made a laughing stock of the officials.

All you've done is point out that RU is following RL in its evolutionary path - but somehow (is a comet coming?) RU will win out? All creating a hybrid code will do is create a 3rd form of rugby - all....
