In Game 4, after San Antonio Spurs beat Utah Jazz in the NBA playoffs, it was said that Utah fans were throwing chapsticks, trash and bottles at the San Antonio players. Of course, the Spurs players did not react - or did they?

In Game 5 Spurs didn't throw anything back, they just opened a can of whoopass on Utah by beating them  109- 84 to book a place in the finals for the fourth time in the last 10 years. So let's remember, people, arguing with the referees, or crying, or throwing things does not get you anywhere in the NBA.

The San Antonio Spurs are not the best looking team, nor the most exciting team to watch, but they are the most effective. They don't care whether or not they sell shoes or sell the most jerseys or even sell out the house. All they care about is winning, and they know it takes a whole team to win, and that's the secret of their success.

Cavaliers or Pistons in the other final berth? Well, I do know the only two teams that the Spurs did not beat in the regular season were Milwaukee and Cleveland. But this will be the finals, so whatever happened in the regular season doesn't  matter at all in the big shoot-out.

Dallas won 67 games in the season - for what? They still lost in the first round. Sure, LeBron James is hot but LeBron is all that Cleveland have. Spurs may not be able to stop LeBron but they can stop the rest of that team and win the championship because it does take more than one person to win a game. I think the best match-up would be the Pistons, a re-match from two years ago. Both have good offense but the difference is Spurs have better defense, and that's what will win them the championship against the Pistons.

It was said from the beginning that the Spurs would shock the NBA world by making it to the finals instead of the  Mavericks or Suns, and many people did not think so. But sometimes thinking may not be the best factor. You have to look at the facts and the stats. Spurs were the better team all year long and now they have proved it. Who's next? Cleveland or Pistons? I don't think it really matters!
