Graeme Smith and Shane Warne are to become team-mates.

The Indian Premier League concept has created a couple of side-splitting situations, none greater than the teaming up of the Aussie yobbo spinner and the South African captain.

As any cricket fan will attest, these two go together like petrol and a flame. The history of this poor relationship is a long and winding road. Plenty of sledging under the bridge and all that, but I don't think Smith is losing too much sleep over that.

'Whatever deal Smith and Warne have reached to behave in a gentlemanly fashion isn't worth spit'

However, the problem which might be keeping Smith up at night must be Warne's integrity.

Dealing with media-addict Shane is like brokering a deal between Osama Bin Laden and George W. Bush (unlikely to happen).

Smith states he's looking forward to playing alongside his old rival Warne (who is intriguingly is also his captain). But I wonder if he's happy with the prospect of Warne going 'mongrel' and stabbing him in the back in the press?

Whatever deal Smith and Warne have reached to behave in a gentlemanly fashion isn't worth spit.

Smith knows that the first opportunity Warne has, he'll be giving Smith a dig. You can take the dingo out the bush... and Warne is unlikely to change his spots. Smith will have to have eyes in the back of his head.

It should make for interesting watching and I can't wait to see Warne show his true colours.
