Why Twenty20 could be the next great hit at the Olympic Games

I personally can't wait for the Olympics to start in August. Beijing will host the Games and although the media has decided to focus on China and its human rights records rather than the actual athletes, the 2008 Olympics should be a big success.

i for one will be glad when the Games actually get under way and we as spectators can enjoy two weeks of sporting greats doing what they do best - playing sports.

However some sports are not as lucky as others when it comes to the Olympics and fail to be recognised as Olympic sports. Therefore the players of certain sports don't get the chance to pick up their gold, silver and bronze medals, but instead have to make do with their own sports world championships and cups.

One sport that is not included in the Olympics,but moswt certainly should be, is cricket. I guess that because the sport is played in onlyh a relatively few counties that its popularity may not that great, but for England there would be chance of a medal at least and therefore let's makes it an Olympic Sport.
