Bhajji bother: How the threat of Singh Singh hangs over Harbhajan
Harbhajan Singh is in the last-chance saloon and his behaviour is already on meltdown. But without the razor-sharp edge to his game will the Indian spinner ever be the same player again?

It seems that the chickens may well have come home to roost for Harbhajan Singh. His protected status with the BCCI has now been eroded to the point where even they have had enough.
The BCCI’s disciplinary hearing into Bhajji’s tiff with Sreesanth has led to stern words for both protagonists and resulted in Bhajji receiving the threat of a life ban for his next serious indiscretion. To show that they are serious the BCCI has also handed Harbhajan a 5-match (ODI) ban.
While the rest of the world will raise an eyebrow that the BCCI have finally brought Harbhajan Singh into line, they won't be surprised that even here, the BCCI have thumbed their nose at the rest of the cricketing world.

I can't imagine what CA would do if one of our lot punched another on the field, in say, a Pura Cup cricket match. Perhaps a public whipping? Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance here. Has it happened in recent history? One of our swimmers has been bounced from the Olympic team for bashing up another swimmer in a pub recently. And yes, he was in court facing assault charges. And rightly so in my opinion. Remember, when Roy tackled that streaker, the DPP and the police considered whether Roy should be charged with assault....t
