The biggest carnival of cricket has just ended and it has left an indelible imprint on the minds of a billion Indians.
IPL had it all. The good, bad and ugly were all a part of it, though I would be comfortable in saying that the good far outplayed the other two.
From the blitzkrieg start of the tournament with Brendon McCullum ripping through a hapless Royal Challengers' attack, to the final ball of the final with Rajasthan Royals deservingly lifting the trophy, the tournament outweighed all expectations.
To do justice to the tournament I will have to write at least half a dozen pieces.
From the famous Slapgate incident to Yuvraj Singh’s comment about the crowd in Mumbai to the girating cheerleaders what we witnessed and experienced was really a part of history which all of us should be proud of.
