Vinokourov found guilty of doping, theres a shocker, this whole tour and cycling as a sport are losing credibility at such an alarming rate that pretty soon i think no one will care!

Who cares? This competition has less of a fan base than poxy Wimbledon.

The 2.5 million spectators who lined the route when the Tour was in the UK may disagree, not to mention many millions more in mainland Europe where cycling is absolutely massive. I felt like I'd been punched in the guts when I heard the news. I think, like Hugh, that few people would be surprised, but I was really angry. I had allowed myself to be absorbed by the racing, depriving myself of sleep and even admiring Vino's performances and courage - only to find out is was all a fraud. Bloody angry and so disappointed.
