Can it get any worse? Probably, so let's not tempt fate. Let's hope that this is the thing that sparks the change. Rumour has it that it was the sponsors who made the call. Maybe if more sponsors start to get pissed off with this sort of stuff, it will be driven by them. Who cares who makes the change, as long as it eventually gets here.

From, day 1,I was skeptical of Michael's missing tests, his comments, his winning of stages, each shrouded by daily comments of tests missed, yet still riding,he should have lifetime ban,Iam 64 yr old, still riding, why should I bother watching ,after so many days,he was lying, well, my sport to relax and watch ,now is Golf, no more Tour. So digusting, how many more cheaters....

if rasmussen did not tested positive why take him out now. where are the proofs? if they have proof then the rabobank should say it now

Well, most of the riders in the tour have those warnings, but we only know about Rasmussen's because DCU gave them this information to a journalist, even though its classified information. He got two warnings from DCU and two from UCI. And its not against the rules - only when you got three warnings from the same organization... And he does not confirm that he was in ITALY, as RAKOBANK says. He should not have been thrown out of the tour!

I have followed the tour for many years. It is just desapointing all the scandal, I just decided not to watch it for this year and hope to get faith on the sport for the next year.

If Rasmussen were innocent, he would be able to show debit card, credit card, gas purchases etc. receipts that would prove he was in Mexico. His whereabouts are "suspicious" for a period of 22 days. The fact that he doesn't proffer any proof makes me skeptical.

There is a lot of other riders in the tour with warnings from the UCI - the only difference is that Rasmussen was the best - and he was very unlucky that that his warning was made public. The ASO og UCI has been fighting for years. And the ASO has strategially used Rasmussens case to promote their own agenda in the media. It looks like Rasmussen is convinient victim in the figth. Its politics and the media who is destroying the tour - and not the riders.
