Get off Joe Kinnear's back! He's done nothing wrong and I guess a lot of the flak aimed at him is because he tells it like it is and made his name as a manager with an unfashionable club like Wimbledon.
The Crazy Gang have nothing on the Toon Army and there are a lot worse folk smarming around in nice suits and ties and talking the talk and walking the walk in a bid to stay at the top in luxury in all walks of life.
Joe probably won't be at Newcastle for too much longer. Will anybody? It's a shame because it ain't a bad little town and the surrounding Northumberland countryside and coastline is beautiful – just like the north-east women!
But Joe seems to have been targeted for all the flak going right now. The media are picking up on anything and everything he does – right or wrong. Like some have said about those journos – if you can't take it, don't dish it out.
I do not fall into that category. For more than 36 years in the job I have said what I think and taken other people's views and comments right back in my face with a smile. I will continue to do so and that's why I am defending Joe.
So who is going to get the manager's job at St James' Park when and if the current nonsense ends and new, honest and reliable owners takeover?
Watch out for David Moyes. He's decidedly twitchy at Everton at the moment and is in no rush to sign a new contract. Harry Redknapp? KK, of course, will be in the frame and I heard that Juande Ramos is taking a crash course in Geordie-speak, too. Hope he makes a better fist of it than the English lessons he should have had before coming to White Hart Lane.
The reign of Spain falls mainly... well, a long way short of what is required at Spurs!

I haven't got a clue who the next manager or owner will be, but I agree 100% that Joe Kinnear should be backed while he is manager of this club. Since his outburst to the press I would say at least 90% of the supporters back him. He's taken a lot of pressure off the players and he's the only manager who would put himself up for the job. I hope he can now get the right results for the fans and get us away from the relegation zone. I also hope that if a buyer does come in he at least puts himself in the shop window again and finds himself a decent club to manage. I also think he would make a great assistant to Keegan if he did come back. Keegan could be the one to instill confidence in the players and Joe could be the one to bollock them when they're not performing!
