What a week in the Premier League! Some last-minute drama, late comebacks and plenty of red cards! Let's take a look at the highs and lows...

ZEROS

4. Antonio Valencia: His Wigan Athletic side were 2-1 up with 15 minutes to go at Liverpool, when he committed a silly foul on Xabi Alonso, for which he was shown his second yellow. Liverpool then turned it around to win 3-2.

3. Middlesbrough: They might not have been expected to beat Chelsea, but they really should have put in a decent performance on their own turf. But that was not to be seen as they were completely outclassed in every part of the game by Chelsea, who ran out 5-0 winners.

2. Carlton Cole: The West Ham forward missed two absolutely splendid chances, probably costing his side the game against Hull City, who continued their fine start to the campaign. His first chance came midway through the first half but his effort went straight at Bo Myhill, who saved comfortably. His second chance found him with the ball on the edge of the six yard box, but he hammered his shot against the woodwork.

1. Tottenham: For how long can their poor performances continue? How long before they step up? Another defeat, this time to Stoke City, means they are still rock bottom and still the only Premier League side without a win. Things might get worse in the coming weeks as Gareth Bale and Michael Dawson, both sent off in the game, will be suspended for at least one and three games respectively.

HEROES

4. Chelsea: They turned in another impressive display as they ran amok at the Riverside. This despite missing key players like Didier Drogba, Joe Cole, Michael Ballack, Michael Essien and Ashley Cole. They really seem to want the title this season, and with the form they're in, it ain't gonna be easy to stop them!

3. Wayne Rooney: The United man can’t stop scoring at the moment. He netted one and assisted another two as United hammered West Brom 4-0. He looked very impressive and his goal was his fourth in successive games for United. It’s gonna be difficult to stop United and England when he’s in this kind of form.

2. Hull City: The Tigers continued their superb start to the campaign with another impressive win, 1-0 against West Ham. They retained third position in the table and if they continue playing like this, they will be serious contenders for a European spot. The question remains; will their dream start ever stop?

1. Liverpool:  The comeback kings did it again. Almost a carbon copy of their game against Manchester City, they turned things around again, this time against Wigan. They came from behind to snatch all three points thanks to late goals from Albert Riera and the match-winner at Eastlands, Dirk Kuyt. Hats off to Rafa and his side!
