Of all the transfer speculation this summer, this has been my favourite. A few websites, notably Goal.com, have claimed that every Tottenham player apart from Jonathan Woodgate, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe is available for sale this summer.

Honestly, this one tickled my funny bone. I know the press love publishing opinions about Spurs, but this takes the biscuit.

Of our entire squad, including Luka Modric, Wilson Palacios, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Vedran Corluka, only three are safe? This is just too good; paper talk gone mad.

Harry Redknapp, no matter your opinion, is a very good manager. He guided relatively small Portsmouth, with very little money and, let's face it, a tiny stadium (around 20,000 seats, the smallest in the Premier League) to the FA Cup.

He, of all people, can take a hint from his predecessor, Juande Ramos, to see that consistency is the key.

Which is why I would say that ONLY three players are likely to be sold this summer. From what I can gather, Didier Zokora, David Bentley and Darren Bent are the only ones who are even remotely likely to be leaving.

There have been no official bids for Bentley and Bent as yet. Sevilla opened talks for Zokora and are reportedly biding their time and saving up, as it were, to buy him.

To suggest that Luka, Wilson and Co. will be sold is absolute madness!

In other news, Luis Figo may be tempted out of retirement by Tottenham to play a couple more seasons. This is a relatively realistic rumour, as Harry and Luis were reportedly at a Bobby Charlton golf do together.

No way are only three players safe at The Lane this summer. Paper talk has escalated out of control, and even though Harry is irritated at Al-Manchester City's spending power, to suggest he would sell 20-plus players is out of the question.
