George Burley has gone already. The Scotland manager is sacked - announce it now, you don't need to wait for the SFA meeting.

His side were humiliated 3-0 by a team of bright young Welshmen on Saturday - and now nobody wants the job!
When are the Jocks going to accept they are now a third-rate footballing nation alongside the likes of Azerbaijan and the Faroe Islands? Have you watched an SPL game lately? I've seen better on our local park on a Sunday morning!
There's only one man for the Scotland job and that's Sir Alex Ferguson. But he won't take it till he quits Manchester United - and he probably wouldn't, anyway. Who needs the humiliation?
Scotland are going nowhere until their top teams are accepted into the Football League and English Premier League. Amalgamate the lot - and the Welsh League, too. They are in an even worse position with nowhere to go - just like the Jocks.
Qualification for the initial Champions League stages is all well and good for the likes of Rhyl. But that is literally all they've got to look forward to as they are blocked from entering the English league.
Despite a glamour game against Partizan Belgrade at the start of the season, one Rhyl official said: "We have reached the point where we are unable to finance ourselves at the level we are at.
''Players are demanding the same sort of money as the Coca-Cola League One and Two players do and we get little support from the Welsh FA."
The Jocks are not much better off. Nowhere to go after the SPL and a knockout after the group stage of Europe is all that Celtic and Rangers can look forward to. Mind you, Rangers did make it to the final of the old UEFA Cup a couple of years ago only to disgarce themselves on and off the pitch in Manchester.
So yes, let's hope for the start of a bright new dawn for the little nations and some forward thinking for once by the fat cats in the positions of power in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.
But hang on a minute. Forward thinking requires a brain and methinks the old dodderers would struggle to come up with one that isn't riddled with Alzheimers anyway.
