Harry Redknapp is set to be disappointed twice in one day following Luis Fabiano’s admission that he wants to stay at Sevilla next season.

The Brazil striker, who netted three times for his country at the World Cup, had caught the eye of the Tottenham manager after excelling for his Spanish club for several seasons.
Redknapp admitted last week that Fabiano was a potential target saying “he's a fabulous player and would be a brilliant addition to any team.”
To be fair, ‘Arry says that about pretty much every player he's ever seen - except Darren Bent - but this time it sounded as if he really meant it.
Fabiano, though, has come out with words of praise for his employers that have all but halted any rumours of his departure from Andalusia.
“I am very happy at Sevilla,” he stated. “Sevilla are also among the best in Europe. I am due to return to training on 26th July and I am looking forward to getting back to work.”
Having apparently missed out on the signature of Joe Cole who looks to be heading to Anfield rather than White Hart Lane, it seems Redknapp will have to revisit his network of scouts in order to bolster their ranks for next season.
