Good article- Can you tell me a bit more about the cheers for Henry and his reaction before and during the match? Huge fan and want to know that he was getting the reception he deserved.

Thanks for the nice comments Tim. Yes, the cheers for TH14 were very loud and very warm. He has always been appreciative of the fans but on Tuesday he looked fit and rested, calm and happy and pleased to be there. Up to his enforced break, TH14 had looked exhausted and a little short of patience. In fact shortness of temper when tired is about the only thing that he and I share, at least that and the love of Arsenal. Maybe also he had found time to clear his head. The Champion's League final, his turning down of Real Madrid's offer, the World Cup, a little down turn in his play, the birth of his lovely daughter, his sciatica had all come together, no wonder he did not look at his wonderful best. He then had a rest and found that the team could function without him which must have relieved him of some pressure. We have also discovered that the Deputy Captain is excellent in the role but that he himself is still loved. A truly memerable match, for more than just the football. Graham.
