I'm a big Baptista fan and think he can be a big hit in the EPL. However, Arsenal is so overloaded in the positions he plays, that he has not yet earned a regular starting berth. Hleb, Rosicky and Fabregas are all natural attacking mids, while Adebayor and van Persie are ahead of the Beast in the pecking order for the 2nd striker spot. He should definitely be given more of a chance ahead of Flamini however. He (and Wenger) should be content to come off the bench for the time being, unless he really demands a spot with stellar play - his 4 goals may be the start of it.

I liked your article very much, the flow was good. Baptista has always been a good player, ive seen him play for Sevilla so i knew what he was capable of. Although everytime i saw him play for Real he was so dissapointing, but that was probably due to a mixture of too much flair in the whole team and players not working for the team around him, no balance. I support Arsenal and i have to say i had been very dissapointed with his displays before the Liverpool match, i was always hoping he would fit in, yet worried he wouldnt, hopefully he gains confidence and believes he can play back to his best now.

i think julio will starting next year because Arse did not want REAL take back julio, after seeing how good julio it,and that is why he dont want to starting julio this year,it;s because the deal not done.we all know how much he's julio,he'll not loose out on him again

Baptista is truly an awful player who cannot shoot to save his life. He's playing better for Real now after all the pressure goes - he's shallow.
