Dont get me wrong, we had 4 great years with mr.Ranieri and what a team he was building. But St.Gallen, Hapoel tel Aviv, Viking stavanger! and Monaco was games we should have won, looking at the team we had at the given time. mr.Ranieri's philosophy was good but sometimes it got him self in a locked situation. In my eyes had mr.Ranieri reached his limit and could not do more, a life as manager in the England is one of the hardest jobs in the world i think... Then.. the 2. of june 04 came the words "we have top players and, Sorry if i'm arrogant, but we now have a top manager" I didnt know what to expect, and the only thing rushing though my head was a blanc...okey... That opening line that June was the beginning to a major clean-up and restructure of the club. The difference between the two managers is gigantic. mourinho is mourinho and there is no one like him, and he is able to prepare and motivate his players better than mr.Ranieri. I agree in almost everything you guys said, but also please remember:whole his last season was about getting a new coach Sven E, and others..He managed very well to cope with all that preassure..Also he never blamed on referees, and he bought Roben, and Peter C. We had problems in last season with Cudichini and othe 2 keepers..If Ranieri only had Peter, he would win something.. Also Chelsea played better last season whith him than any of those 3 seasond with "special one" . In his season, Arsenal never lost, and they were untouchables..Ranieri is Special one for me..
