As the season draws to an end, I guess many Arsenal fans are thinking about who will sign, who will go, who will retire or who will be loaned out again. What will the team look like in the new season? Will we be disappointed or delighted? Let's talk about possible signings first:
1) Franck Ribery ending our wide-man woes. He is the next Robert Pires. Besides the fact that he is French, I guess he can score more goals than our misfiring bunch of midfielders. Ribery has already show us what he can do in the World Cup. So let's take up the cheque book and sign the guy.2) Up front, Carlos Tevez. Why? Because we need to sign one outstanding player. Julio Baptista's best position will be as an attacking midfielder. He does not have the first touch to lead the front line but he can be a good 'coming from midfield player' to snap up the chances. Sad to say, Jeremie Aliadiere is a disappointment. Theo Walcott is still young and I hope to see him more in a winger position so that he can develop confidence to take on players and see the whole picture in midfield. He is a raw diamond in the making, no doubt a good one. Nicklas Bendtner is also highly promising but I am not sure he will be able to make the grade next season. He is doing well out on loan at Birmingham but the fact that he is in a division with the likes of Jamie Cureton, Grzegorz Raziak, Stevie Howard, Chris Iwelumo and Alan Lee, he might still need one more season to be able to contribute positively in the Premier League. That is why we need Tevez. He has taken his time to settle down at West Ham, but now that he is settled in, he is showing why he is so highly rated. He has already scored and created a few goals to give the Hammers a ray of hope in the relegation fight. Tevez captained Corinthians to the Brazilian title and won the 2004 Olympic Golden Boot with six goals in four games. He is a tough character and he has heart . . . and clearly this is what we need in the Arsenal team now.3) Ronaldino - no need to explain why we need him.4) One great keeper (to be identified). With these four additions and our defence staying fit, we will win at least a couple of competitions next year. Go Gunners!!

The fans expect Arsenal to win atleast 1 silverware every season. That was the standard set by Wenger. The last 2 seasons Arsenal have lost a lot of experience and no silverware. Its time to bring new players who can bring back the team we use to see a few years back. Hope Wenger signs 2 or 3 good and experienced players who can do the job well.

Teves would be a class act. Henry - RvP - Adebayor - Teves - Bendtner. That is class. Name a premiership team with that much up front? Ronaldinho? NO! He would not fit in the premiership. You will say "look at C. Ronaldo" they are not the same. Ronaldo is fast and skillfull at the same time. Loves the big occasion. Ronnie only likes the smaller clubs. They are Sheff Unt and fu*kin Bolton! Akinfeev please. Ribery please. We will be sorted then.

Ribery can be the new Pires? You've obviously never even seen the guy play, he's not fit to lick Pires' boots! He's a worse goalscorer than Hleb or Rosicky! So you think he proved it in the World Cup? He scored one goal! Phil Senderos also scored one goal - perhaps you think he's the new Bergkamp too? I'm sick of being preached to about Ribery from people who obviously have never even seen him play.

have to say im getting sick and tired of all this "buy buy buy" crap. lets say we bought ronnie and tevez that would leave us with henry, van persie, ade, ronnie, tevez and bendtner up front (and theo could use some practice up there aswell) by purchasing two strikers we would most certainly kill of bendtner and theos chanses to develope and play for the first squad. Nicklas would have to play for the reserves and leave after the season, and by that we would have pushed away one of the brightest prospects at the club. So stop moaning for 56 new players to be signed please.

Arsenal requires a few new players for next season. Suggestions for strikers: Carlos Tevez, Klaas Jan Hunterlaar, Andy Johnson, and Robinho. Midfielders: Franck Ribery, Ryan Babel, and Ronaldinho. Each player (except Ronaldinho) market value is at approximately 13 million pounds or less, affordable by Arsenal. The Arsenal team without Henry and Robin van Persie have showed signs of their inability to score clinical goals. If goals cannot be scored, then the weakness in the Arsenal team becomes obvious. In short, to win trophies means to score goals that win games and accumulate maximum points. To overcome this weakness requires spending proper money to secure experience players during the summer transfer window.

Araenal needs a big and tall central defender B'se Gallas has lost the appetitte of winning and both central defenders are short. Also we need a good striker b'se we can't depend on Adebayor to be our leading stiker when Henry is injured.

Ribery has scored 3 goals the whole season and I've seen him play. He's well overrated! I hate it when all you idiots are calling for him because you haven't seen him play and do not know his stats so stop jumping up and down for him!! Samir Nasri for Marseilles is better than Ribery. Tevez IS class though.

Did you see Carlos Tevez against us at the Emirates? He was pants. I agree that we need Ribery but no way are we getting Ronaldinho. Do you know anything about Arsenal and potential transfer targets? Goalkeeper to be identified, wtf? We will most probably get Akinfeev from CSKA but then again you're useless so you wouldn't know who he is.

I would like to see arsenal buying world class deffenders and more especially England nationals such as Anton Ferdinad and Curtis Davies. More than that we need srikers with very good finish because the current strikers that we have are doing well but not well enough like Adebayor who in most cases heat the upright while Baptista fail to make impression in the last six games. We need to balance arsenal with England national players and when England national team is performing yet no arsenal player is representing the country where arsenal is based, than it means that we are not feeding the national team with our beatiful football that is admired over the world. Player like David Bently is doing well at Bolton and should Wenger concider bringing him back would also contribute to our striking force due to his versatility. I do admire Wenger and I know that he will buy players that will do us proud the coming season and which will be able to win the champions league as well as the league but I thouhgt I should
