Right now I'm feeling a bit like a duck; whilst I might appear to be calm and unruffled, beneath the surface there is turmoil.

Though I still fully expect Manure to clinch the title, the Easter weekend games made that outcome just a little less certain. In what is a seminal week for Chelsea's season, the Blues began it by beating the Spuds – which is always a pleasure, obviously. I really thought we'd drop points, but a great strike from Lord Percy (Ricardo Carvalho) bagged all three points.

Manure losing at Pompey was a major surprise, however, and whilst the gap has now been reduced to three points, Manure's goal difference means it's really four. So the Premiership is still in the balance and we are clinging on gamely – eight Premiership wins on the spin is testimony to our battling spirit, all without conceding a goal. And it's now 60 unbeaten at home. There may be a few more twists, but I just can't see us winning all our remaining games, which we need to do.

Sadly, though football continues to spring surprises, I can't see us progressing in the Champions League, either. Our form might see us past average Premiership sides, but we need to step up several gears to beat Valencia, and I'm not sure we have it in us at the moment.

At our best we're capable of beating any team, but we are not at our best, and our great habit of nicking wins won't work against Spain's finest.

Of the three remaining targets, the FA Cup seems the most realistic – at least when it comes to making the final. But Blackburn can be a tricky, physical team to play, and an appearance at Wembley is at stake, so it could go either way. No easy ride, but our quality will hopefully show through.

Even then, it'll obviously be Manure in the final, who will then probably be going for a double. A daunting prospect, but on the whole I'd rather be us than Watford right now.

I suppose I should be more positive, so, what the hell. Let's put on some rose-tinted specs and say that we are the only team who can do the 'quadruple'!

Is the quadruple as silly as it sounds for Chelsea? We want to hear your views at Sportingo.
