Two hopes. Bob Hope and No hope!

Owen is history at Liverpool, as far as I´m concerned. He left when we needed him most, and we should never forget that. Honestly I don´t care where he plays, just as long as he doesn´t return to Anfield.

mike needs liverpooland liverpool need him come home mike make your and our dreams come true

I think owen will not sign for mu for sure....however he could be the right candidate beside villa or eto for the reds. His last destination could be arsenal because arsenal need a scorer which he fits in.
Actually I´d be delighted if Manure signed him for 12m and he caught an injury in the opening game of the season, which would keep him out for a whole season!! HAHAHAAAAA!!!! Wouldn´t that be grand??

i really believe that michael owen is going to return to liverpool and be the best player of it!
Come on let´s face it, fellow LFC fans! Michael will only cost us a bunch of money, considering his injury proneness.

Does no one remember what life was like under houlier, Owen played in a totally defensive team and still scored, what could he do in a great rafa team, bring him home and let him prove everyone wrong
by Elton Campbell on April 16, 2007
He would never disrespect us and join Manu or Gunners!
by mike on April 16, 2007
he ran out on us after stalling on a contract for two years. we do not owe this rat anything, especially another chance at a big club instead of rotting at crappy little newcastle
by brett Chambers on April 16, 2007
Newcastle should sell him. Just another terrible mistake by Fat Freddy. Newcastle need the 12-14 million to spend on defence and a young striker, also Carroll is looking good 6'4 target man for Martins

Owen cant go to Manchester United, the rumours are being built up by some nonsense press that forgot he went crashing in on schmeichel a few years ago and got sent off, that he played for Liverpool and scored a bucket load of goals. £12million is a snip and we should consider buying him if he is back to full fitness. With our rotation policy the chances are he would play half the games he did when GH was in charge and probably score more goals. Would like to see him back if he going to move, but if he stays at geordie land then id love us to sign a world class proven goalscorer... Ronaldo from Milan be nice

Owen is exactly what we are crying out for. Rafa's team could get him back to full fitness and if we had had him here (uninjured) this season we would be up there with Man U and Chelsea now and challenging for the title. Thats the difference he makes.
Owen is a has been- both as a Liverpool player and as a footballer in general. Greedy little spineless punk! Stay away from Anfield and LFC, which you turned your back on when times were rough.........Real Madrid! HAHAHAAAAAA!!!!! It´s little Mikeys own fault, his career at the moment is about as glamorous as a horses arse!

rafa is far to astute to consider bringing owen back to anfield,he was passed his best the season before he left, also remember he left us with hobsons choice thanks but no thanks michael.

If you were MIchael Owen, would you want to go somewhere where, say, Rooney and Ronaldo, or Henry and Van Persie are firmly ensconced? Isn't that the Galacticos all over again?
by Tan Sri on April 17, 2007
Which Owen are you refering to? The one who kissed the LFC badge after he scores or the one who left Anfield in a hurry ? To me , he's finished ! Why even consider him the first place ? We have the resources now, we can get better strikers. If Darren Bent, who played once for England is priced in excess of 10 million pounds then it is logically better to get an international striker outside the Premiership which may cost slightly or even higher. If Rafa wanted Villa, then go for it. This guy can dribble, he can shoot and he can open spaces for other players . I say, keep Bellamy,Crouch,Kuyt,Voronin and add David Villa. We will be a force to reckon with next year !

Roony and Owen at Man united will be the best thing for MU as well as England. The little owen is too good for any team unfortunately Real missed him. At present he is better than Raul and Robino
by KopMadnezz on April 17, 2007
Comeon guys, Owen may have been a judas for us, but maybe it is time that he came back and made sure he won us back. I mean all those years in obscurity should have made him more matured. I hate him now but I am willing to forgive him if he joins us and score a hell lot of goals and ask for forgiveness after that!
by joe on April 17, 2007
darrent bent will make his way.....like crouch....he's killing us with those fine touch
by markyp on April 17, 2007
owen is amazing just what we need!!!
by brunswickboy on April 17, 2007
Do u honestly think that mike can handle rafa rotating game or start on the pine or be subbed, i don't think so,lets all move on he made his choice backthen to leave without any hesitation unlike steven gerrad who was physically sick about leaving lfc and its fans ,no loyalty in mike.

Just imagine,Owen,Kuyt & Bellamy. Don´t forget that Kuyt could be top scorer next season!
by Gary on April 17, 2007
There is £10m rated international striker on our books, with pace to burn and who scored 17 goals last season from right wing... Play this pacey selfish git alongside either Kuyt or Crouchie and then sit back and wonder why we would consider filling the treatment room with Owen. Great player though he once was, 11 games in 2 seasons tells a story of woe that encapsulates Owens whole career - he's like a Ducati in that regard (quick and very efficient at doing the job they're designed for, but you'll need another one for when they're broken!!)
by jackal on April 17, 2007
its what we need most - he'd play great of crouch, kuyt, garcia even, and feed on the thruballs of ged, alonso etc. plus he's not exactly bad at turning in crosses either. as me mate says - i hate owen, all he does is score goals...!
