Its silly talk. In 17 games this year, he produced 10G and 5A. Who else in the Prem is above that average? Only Ronaldo who has delivered 29 G A in 29 Games. Who among the top scorers at the top teams is third? Van Persie, then Rooney. Few players transform a game by their presence. Arsenal has one of them, and until he can no longer perform at that level, they'd be idiotic to let him go.

now listen or read henry is a god amongs men who can do what he does and for a so called fans critisising henry, tell me a striker who has been in form 4 st8 5 years and stayed when joganouts like barcelona, madrid .e.t.c wanted him infact fans who critisise henry are mentally unstable .

It's about time someone stopped slating Thierry, sat back and put things into perspective. Yeh, he's having a "moment", a small blip in glittering career. He'll bounce back and show all you haters...bring on next season... Come on you GUNNERS!!!!
by trasht31 on April 17, 2007
True words. I think they need a new man in ova tha Beast tho. As a Cardiff fan I watch Bendtner in the Championship, and he's the dogs bollocks.
by Captain Birdseye on April 18, 2007
First of all...who cares!!! We know Thierry only has one more year in him, then Arsene is going to get rid off him like our previous captain. Ok people might say Vieria was out of form for a couple of seasons but we really miss him, even now. All it takes is for Thierry to have another bad season and i think Arsene will get rid of him especially if he can raise £8m. If Henry stays I think its time to pair him with a poacher like Michael Owen or someone similar. Forget Van Persie not good enough even for Spurs, Adebayor too rubbish and Baptista the less said the better. We know we play the best football in the world but all we need is that fox in the box. Someone who will get the scraps of deflections, someone who can put pressure on the keeper from a long shot. I've lost count of how many scrambles i have seen in the oppositions box, if only we had that one poacher. We don't need to spend big for a striker but its hard to find a quality poacher. Owen when available a couple seasons back would have b

Can't understand how an Arsenal fan would make the comments 'Captain Birdseye' did. Adebayor's name is sung in the stands as much as anyone else's. Van Persie is our most skillful and easily our best set-piece taker with a left foot rivalled only by Riise in the Premiership. Adebayor's understanding with our midfield is exceptional although I do concede his finishing is lacklustre at times. Agreed Baptista is useless most of the time but he does score those 'scrappy' goals. I think Bendtner could be that 'fox in the box' for next season.

After joining AC Milan he is showing a stunning performance in Seria A and its the luck of other teams in champions league that he couldn't play in their league.... WELDON R9 KEEP SCORING STILL YOU ARE THE BEST.

Its tough to watch the fall of someone who means so much too one club,he looks and sounds like a ,man that has had to carry the burden for far too long and its taken its toll on him mentally and physically.the reason i agree with this rajesh chap is because ,he still fells he has soemthing to prove, and i think he will come good.A fox in the box would be good ,but arsene has tried (Frannie jeffers)so not entirely his fault. Someone like andy jinhson would have been worth the gamble, and when If been converted with regards to Van Persie. The beast,Hleb,Theo and Senderous still have something to prove. Arsenal have struggled without the influnce of the greatest ever foriegn import(Bergkamp),if all else fails sign Ray parlour,he was half decent wasn't he?
To say Arsene tried with the "fox in the box" is not exactly true. To compare Jeffers to Owen you really must stop drinking in the day. Andy Johnson would be a great shout. I don't think the absence of Bergkamp is a major thing, i think they are missing that Vieira presence in the middle of the park but Diaby looks good. But none of this matters. Now Dein has gone why would he just leave and we know he is really close with Arsene. Is that the end of Arsene? Henry? Seriously something major must have happened for Dein, who loves the club to death, want to leave. Could be getting worse for Arsenal?

I definitely think this season is one where TH has had little opportunity to show his best. Write it off. I also don't think you can underestimate the fatigue that can build up in players at the top over time, and the aggregation of niggling injuries that prevent them from being at their best. I also think that an extended lay-off like this can see a player come back fresh and better than ever. Think of Denis Bergkamp a couple of seasons ago.
The question remains, if we do get TH and RvP back fit for next season, coupled with Adebyor and Bendtner, if we have the players to put the ball in the net that we've missed so much this season? I don't think Aiadiare is good enough. I'm not sure if Baptista deserves a full season. I think Rosicky, Fabregas and Wallcott will provide more goals from midfield next season. I don't know that Hleb ever will. If we're going to add 'world class' quality to the squad, I'd like to see Eto'o, Villa, Ribery, or Alves on the team sheet.
by Rajesh on April 19, 2007
If Eto'o came knocking it would be great for Arsenal, But just as with anyone else, you're never guarenteed of goals in this league. To be fair he does seem to be the right mould for the premiership. The problem with people like Eto is he's very outspoken & passionate and it requires a lot of patience to play for Wenger's young side. I suppose it helps that he's mates with TH but winning is like a drug, and will he have the patience to perhaps go through trophyless seasons at Arsenal? He's clearly frustrated at Barca and I'm sure the prospect of no La Liga or Champs League titles is a factor.

It really would a shame if Arseanl went and spent big, just because football is dictated by money doesnt mean arsenal should follow the trend set by chelsea and Man ut(soon to liverpool as well). The reasonmost neaturals enjoy watching arsenal is because the team ethic and youth is all hand built from the vison of one man,the manger ,he used to be supported by the former v.chairmen david dein(only time will tell if that was a good or bad move),and because of this play the football ,the purist want to see. Of course winning is nice and needed in football, but recently spendig big on relatuvil hgh profile players in arsenals case hasnt worked. Think reyes, hleb, jeffers, evn adeebyor(although i think he will really take contaol next year)and also theo(i know he's young but owena dn rooney were once 17 and they made more of an impact at arguably esser clubs ,with mediocre players. Arsenal are a tight unit that will grow old together ,some players that are nutured inth acdamy dont always work, thats football. Buying e

continued.... buying eto'o would be bad for the club and cause the dishamnoy that surronded the club not so long ago(Henry's should i stay or should i go scenerio). I find it hard to belive tha arsenel would consider this , anelka is a prime exapl eof talent needed but not requirred as was viera ,when he started getting comfy ,arsene lifted the rug rom under(something we should admire)because lets face telling a player its over isnt nice ,but arsene isnt a nice man,he's a samrt man, just like jose and alex.THe dillema he faces is making this unit of players who will win something ,keep winning and make them belive . they ae young its really about how bad they want it,and the men leading them. Being ayoungg team isnt a viable excuse, the last team to spout out that nonsense was a leeds united (leeds, leeds, leeds) team that was' still a young bunch of lads, with a lot to learn'. they learnt a lot,how to get relegated and become ego maniacs(with the exception of alan smith). Lets hope that arsenal dont fall into th

I realy love and apretiet Thierry Henry.I want to get his e-mail.

I don't think anyone could accuse Arsenal of being a big spending club. If we introduce 1 or 2 world class players to enhance the squad, and particularly sow some experience around our talented youth, then all the better. One thing youth and talent doesn't give you is experience. You have to admit Arsenal have failed to put the ball in the net repeatedly this season. Do we put all our faith in the return of TH, RvP, and Bendtner with Adebyor?

I agree, Henry is the King, a little like our royals, when you need them most, their behind the lines leaving the kids to get slaughtered
by carlos ronaldo on April 29, 2007
the king my butt, he has ever won anything except the premiship. and the premiship is much lower in technique to serie a or la liga. he should move to ac milan and he would do well. kaka from ac milan is my cousin and he is bazilian and half italian like myself, he is the king no one else. christiano ronaldo is a filho da puta
