A decent first half with a tired looking second half and some dubious Martin Jol tactics saw Spurs lucky to get their point in a disappointing performance overall. You can predict when Spurs will concede a goal, even as an armchair manager I see it almost every time. The midfield doesn't get back, the team does not shut down the opposition and the enemy ends up with plenty of time to make the perfect pass. Bam. Goal.

It comes down to desire, fitness and organisation and, just right now, our defence and defensive midfield lack all three. With Ledley King back it will be better next year as he gets fitter but I think we can hope for nothing better through to the end of the season. When we do go forward, though, we still look good which is probably why the second half was such a disaster. All on the back foot, all in our own half. Well done Jermaine Jenas for a fine strike and the shocking sight of Robbie Keane scoring... with his head!

Back to seventh with Bolton and Everton to overhaul in our last four games. I see it.
