Couldn't be bothered to read the whole article, as it from the outset was bulit one pure hatred, samll-mindness and possibly envy. Read the laughable last lines though and am still amazed how easily fooled people are. When have Mourinho belittled Liverpool legends? When has he said Liverpool is a small club? However, I have to give it to you, Tom, you are doing a nice interpretation of Bagdad-Bob when spreading your gospel. Good luck in the future.

I cant understand why all the fuss has come about, firstly I am a Liverpool supporter and I wear my heart on my sleeve, but the comments jose made were and are all part and parcel in the game, it fuels the fans and the media alike. it boosts ratings and is good for the game, he means nothing by it and its all tactics, which obviously backfired when he claimed we are a small club, he realy did the team talk on that and i think he regerets that remark because it nfired up the team, but regardless to any of this, he is good for the game and it makes our league exciting and fun and inputs more hype in the game,as for his future well that lies in Chelsea and Roman but I for one hold no ill feelings towards a man who plays and talks for the game and has great passion. so much more I could say but I am at work!!

Is Parry a bit thick? the season isn't over the league title hasn't yet been lost (maybe sunday) and there is an FA Cup final to win - Deep down he seems a bit jealous that Chelsea have managed to do what Liverpool haven't for SEVENTEEN years win the league title something you can't win on penalties. To say that Chelsea are the most hated club is a joke maybe to Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal fans as we are a threat, everyone else seems quite happy we've broken the domination of Arsenal and United.

I think mourinho is a indeed a very bad loser, and a pain in the ass! I'm a big Liverpool fan but I also watch Chelsea's games back in the old days for the love of football. But now I watched Chelsea even more just to see them get beaten although that can be very rare. Mourinho's not the Special One as he had claimed.. he is nothing without all the wealth of Chelsea and all the talents that they currently have.. Maybe Reading or Wigan are even better looking at the amount of money spent on players. At least they started from nobody to somebody rather than 'somebody' to make up a whole team but can only perform in the domestic league! Wake up Mourinho!

I understand that in your heart of hearts you quite rightly recognise Jose Mourinho as the best manager in the world but one who is employed at a club other than your own. I know it must hurt but really, for your own sake, you just have to let it go.

I think Jose unguarded comments makes you wonder if he has diaahoea of the mouth. Whilst he can legitimately make claims to some achievements in the game, he thinks too highly of himself and little of rival coaches and teams. Indeed he has won more enemies for Chelsea. For a team that wants to become a global brand, that is the last team any of its official should do. Many of my friends who used to root for Chelsea in the days of Zola and Gullit have since moved on. Jose style is too mechanical, completely bereft of any artistry (save for Joe Cole and Mikel Obi. I hope the last defeat in Anfield will teach him some humility and verbal circumspection.

Yet another idiot with biased worth nothing opinions. How many times has Liverpoor managed to win the Premiership? Answer Zero. Knock out competitions seem to be all they can manage these days (luck on penalties doesn’t measure ability, it’s like tossing a coin). When it comes to consistency only the Premier league title can measure a team’s real overall ability. It takes luck out of the equation – which is why Liverpoor will never win it. My advice Tom Arseness - close your mouth, there’s crap dribbling down your chin.

Mourinho is the most misquoted man in football. Though he does, on occasion, put his foot in it. He should not have said Chelsea were the best team at Anfield. They weren't, though the game was a fairly even contest. Chelsea should have finished off the tie at the Bridge, where they were on top. And Jose did get his tactics wrong on Tuessday. All that said, where does Rick Parry get the 500 million from? Is he including what Roman paid for the club? What about the two Premiership titles and hopefully an FA Cup as well. Parry has forgotten something. His own team might win NOTHING. The third best team in England have to get past the fourth best team in Italy. If Benitez (pronounced Beneath Us) wins NOTHING this year, what will that say about Liverpool's return on its own player investments. A request to Liverpool: can you try winning a Cup in open play without having to rely on penalties?

One, he never called them a small team. Two, Kuyt admitted they tried to get Drogba booked. Three, Tom, you're quite possibly the worst 'writer' I've had the misfortune to waste my eyes on. Have a nice day.
by Scouse Billy on May 03, 2007
Agree with you Tom. Mourinho is rattled and knows his job is on the line. I know lot's of people who will no longer buy Samsung goods. Stupid putting your logo and name on the shirts of the reviled - and paying for it!!

Where did you get the idea that Chelsea had few enemies before Mourinho arrived? Chelsea wasn't a big club, but for a club of its stature it had MANY enemies within the media ever since the 1970s really. It's just now they're winning titles that the enmity is coming to a head, with Mourinho providing a suitable target for that hatred. And to Rick Parry, I'd take Chelsea's back to back league titles (the main reason for the investment) over a fluked champions league and an fa cup. Year after year now chelsea are challenging for the premiership, something liverpool haven't done for going on 20 years now. Thats what the investment's for.

DAER FC CHELSAE . YOU NEED 2 BUY ANOTHER STRIKER THAT CAN ALSO CHALLENGE DROGBA IN ADVANCE PLEASE.
by Valo on May 03, 2007
It's not what he says, I can ignore that. It the way he coaches his teams to cheat, to dive, to feign injury. It's the way he buys players and sticks them in the reserves so they can't play for rivals. It's the way he spends £500 and plays long-ball football. And it's Peter Kenyon. THAT's why I hate Chelsea.

I've just bought their latest 50" plasma to watch Chelsea on. Fantastic picture quality 15000-1 contrast ratio don't you know!
by London Pride on May 03, 2007
Liverscouse are the biggest bunch of cheating diving tossers you’ll ever lay eyes on. Cheating and scouse go together like peaches and cream. No surprise scouse even rob their own given half a chance. Now go back and sign your shit song you stole from a musical.

Mourinho's has been great to have in the game, a character, which help make it an interesting league on and off the field. He has, however, began to perhaps believe his own hype and get petulant when things don't go his way. There is validity in the claim of Chelsea becoming hated because of him. Yes, the media jump on everything he says, he knows that though and still continues to say things that can be contrued as contentious. Abramovich bought the club to build them into a 'global brand'. Brands like that need to have mass appeal to attract the neutral, especially impressionable young kids looking to support the winning team. Yes, Chelsea have been winning of late, but youngsters also generally want to look up to their role models, not feel embarrassed by them. Remember, the kids are the future of football, both playing and supporting. Abramovich knows this and may choose to go elsewhere to fulfill his global dream. I am a Liverpool fan but I don't subscribe to Parry's comments. It's just getting bitchy a

The vast majority of what Jose says is all just part and parcel of stiring things up and using the Media to hype his and Chelsea's achievements. If it winds you up then too bad, just get over yourself. For me he's crossed the line on only two occasions this year, the first when he insulted Ronaldo about him being thick and from a poor background, and the second when he lied to portray the Reading ambulance service in a bad light. Ambulance men and women are the sort of people who earn 20K a year, but dig deep to buy match tickets and football kits for their kids. They are the sort of people who pay the multi multi millionaire Jose's salary, and insulting them to score a cheap point in the media was such a low dirty way to behave that I lost all respect for him. Most of the time I think Mourinho is a on an obvious wind up, but on that day it was a sick joke.

The reason why Rick is right is because it was through hard work that LFC won the trophies, whose winnings were ploughed back into the club to be more competitive again. Chelsea on the other hand received the money on a platter without hard work. The reason why people will continue mocking you guys is because you havn't really shown anything for it except 2 premiership's which admittedly eludes Liverpool,, but that's because of mistakes made by the last manager and the board who did not support Roy Evans when he wanted to buy big names.
by GaryK on May 03, 2007
Been to Non-league games and heard chants of "Stand Up If You Hate Chelsea", been to Port Vale and heard the same, been to Wolves and heard the same. Any Chelsea fan who tries telling you that they're not the most hated team around, or is convinced that the reason people hate them is because they're successful is just an out an out disillusional clown. Don't give them the time of day. Ignore their comments, they're not football fans. Proper Chelsea fans with a a braincell understand why they are hated, and some like it some don't. Most don't care cos they're doing so well, fair enough.

God im getting sick of all this. Jose is a GREAT manager. one of the best in the world. and here's a shock I’m a highly passionate and obsessed Liverpool fan. All this ranting gets on my pecks. Jose comes out with this c**p so that he deflects attention from his players, gives them some bulls**t to believe so they will lift themselves again all the quicker. Its all tactics, he has studied physiology and you can see that he is aware of what he is doing! Real Madrid has shown for years that money can't buy success as did Ranieri before Jose. The difference is it takes a great manager to compete in the top of the league, and then the occasional spare half a billion pounds helps take you above everyone else. Chelskis dominance has been down to their money-granted, however without Jose they wouldn't even be there. No he’s not gone too far, yes he’s an irritating little sh*t but he doesn’t care about that. By all means be sick of the way he speaks but don’t belittle his pedigree! Still wish he'd shut

Mourinho is a class 1 idiot!
by Rajo on May 03, 2007
Agree with you Daniel, Jose is a great manager. He's bloody annoying and a big reason why I love seeing Cheslea lose. But that doesn't change that Jose's a great tactician. Also, I was at an AFC wimbledon game and heard the visiting Billericay fans chant "Stand up if you hate Chelsea". Agree with GaryK, there are a hell of a lot of disillusioned Chelsea fans. People wanted to BEAT you cos you're good. People HATE you for other reason.
