Every team has injuries, we played you with SEVEN first teamers out, did you give us the credit, did you hell. Asenal, Man Utd and Liverpool have ALL had players out for long periods, No excuses mate

That gave me a good laugh. Awful biased stuff. Ye were beaten by a better team this year in the premiership. You forgot to mention Utd's injury problems in your article. And your point of buying for the long term is ridiculous when you consider the ages of Ballack and Shevchenko. 30M for a striker that cant even outscore John O Shea in the league would be considered a flop

Chelsea won 12 games 1-0...they tied nine...the stategy of "the special one" is what lost the title not injuries...fear to lose is not what brings titles

what chelsea lack this season is the lack of Good reserved players. At least during injuries Mikel,Diarra,Wayne Bridge and Ferreira proved their worth. But I honestly beleive that if with good reserve we would have coped with the injuries though we coped anyway but it was costly and still unbearable for me in loosing out of the major trophies. The players are all tried, I can't ask more from them, despite oppositions from enemies of the Blues am still proud of them. In other to save us from this type of insult from other fans in next season,we have to sign good players-2strong defenders,2strong midfielders, and 2strong attackers so that they will be on standby incase of injuries. There is no harm of contesting for more Trophies,if Players are available provided it is not the same set of players contesting in all fronts-they are human beings and not machine. However I know Chelsea will BOUNCE BACK that is why were are the BLUES-never fades. players like Sinclair,Ben sahar and others should be loaned out for mor

what killed Chesea is injuries to big players at Crutial time.can you play down the importance of Essien in a match? now look at a match with Skipper Terry,Carvalho,Ashley Cole, and Diara at defence. Ballack,Mikel, Essien and Lampard at midfield.Rigid Drogba and Shevy attackers.Joe Cole,Robben,Wayne Brigde for substitutes against liverpool, arsenal or man u so what will you say?
It is better to fall in the hand of better team than in the hands of worst team, that shows we are champion at least nobody is talking of Arsenal now that shows that we are still relevant nobodytalks about stale issues it means Blues is still alive and kicking not withstanding the injuries that Chelsea suffered this season i pray man u dont suffer it . it is when you dont have a problem you call yourselve a man when the problem come we will know who is a man.Chelsea is not bad and not a woeful performance,24wins-10draws-4 lost 2nd on the league with 81 points agaist man u wins of 28 with 89points so what do you expect?
by olatunjimariah on May 10, 2007
well no clubs that do not suffer injuries but which one is as tough and rampant, with big injuries to big players thruoght the season?in this season of hot premiership 14 points ahead of liverpool and arsenal who are injury less why cant you accept facts Chelsea cannot dominate the cup forever some times loose and some time wins but the fact that they are still one of the best club in europe, one of the top four in England is enough
