The current situation at Arsenal with regards to Thierry Henry is becoming increasingly unstable as speculation mounts that their former prize possession may choose to move to the Nou Camp this summer.Due to recent injury problems, Henry has not featured in Arsene Wenger's starting line-up in the Premiership, Carling Cup or Champions League. Once rated as the world's best, the wantaway striker appears to be unsettled at the north London outfit. A move to Spain and a change of scenery might be on the cards after Barca's president was quoted this week as saying he was ''finalising the signing'' of the French international hitman. And I'm sure Henry would command a regular first-team place there once he regains full fitness. The price he would command looks uncertain at present, though Barcelona are famous for adopting unsettled players - Eidur Gudjohnsen's big-money move from Chelsea a couple of years ago being an example. Now if rumours are true regarding the future of striker Samuel Eto'o and a possible move to Manchester United or Liverpool, then a place for Henry in Frank Rijkaard's line-up would be sanctioned by the Spaniards.Despite his injuries, Henry is a genius on the ball, so hopefully he will return to the game better than ever for entertainment's sake. My view is that Barcelona will attempt to lure him away from Arsenal for around the £10-15million mark. Henry did state that he would stay at Arsenal if Wenger snubs a possible move himself, sothere might just be some covert dealing going on behing closed doors at the Emirates. Will Henry move to Barca? i don't what what Laporte want Henry to do. The guy has repeatedly said he won't leave arsenal yet they are trying to unsettle him. Barcelona can try but I can bet you that they won't get Henry never. Take my word, its just the usual wish but they can,t get him. End of story.

Written by a Spurs fan? Of course! The sly 'digs' and blind hope that your local rival's world class striker will up sticks and move abroad. Sure Henry has gone two seasons without a trophy but in many other ways the club has taken great strides; we made the Champions League final which shows the potential in the side, we've moved to the best club stadium in Britain (if not the world) and Henry is captaining the team there, and added to that, the youngsters have shown this season what they're capable of. If we didn't have to play almost half the season without a regular back four and our two main strikers things would be a lot rosier, but with a break from football and no summer tournaments on the horizon, Thierry will come back refreshed and raring to go - just watch him. The player himself has consistently said how much he loves the club, how much he wants to stay, and he's signed a contract which takes him up until 2010. People seem to forget how hacked off Henry was with Barcelona after the

No one is bigger than his club and everyone should remember that. Alex taught us that Club comes first. Stam, Becks, VanN etc, if you want to go, GO! If not, pull on a shirt and walk the walk.

The writer is qualified to write this article. Everyone of Spurs stars have deserted them, so he would expect the same of Henry. Except of course he doesnt realize Arsenal is a place star players actually want to end up in, whereas Spurs is a place future stars use to showcase their skill to lure offers from big clubs...like Arsenal and Sol Campbell, Carrick and ManU, Berbatov and.....

If you had seen his interview with GQ magazines Piers Morgan you would see he 'promised' he would be at arsenal next year. something else to write about.

This drivel is coming from a bloke called Joan ffs. It got boring last season and its still boring. Thierry is staying at Arsenal now go get a life.

If Henry leaves, then that shows indication that Wenger will leave next season. If Wenger does end up leaving, the Arsenal youngsters will want to leave too. Arsenal cannot afford to let these players go for cheap...we need the US Tycoon!!

I am a shareholder of Arsenal, a very small one but none the less I own shares therefore I owe a part of the business. Thierry is one of MY staff members (if you really look at it!) and ths Barcelona idiot is harrasing my staff member again. Surely, this can give me grounds to sue? please smeone let me know as IF this is true and he can be sued over this, I feel all monority Shareholders should group together and do this.... who knows maybe 'Stan the man' will join us and sue barce!!!!!!

Honestly I don't know how you can get away with publishing such utter rubbish.

what a load of bull....

my own personal opinion is that thiery henry should snub any attempt to lure him away from emirates and focus on how he can win laurels with the gunners. but yet, management of arsenal should look into bringing an established striker in the class of Eto to partner him.
by Essexian76 on May 11, 2007
Ah well gooners see how you like seeing stories without any foundation, whatsoever about your top striker, being linked to other more illustrious rivals.Bloody annoying isnt?
by Steve Clark on May 11, 2007
You may secure short-term gain by publishing such cobbled-together, fabricated nonsense but in the long term you are losing your credibility as as a reliable news source - and without that even a cowboy outfit like this is - thankfully - doomed.

go it will clear the way for samualeto to come to united. if a world class striker like henry were to go, it would clear the way for eto to come to old trafford, giving them a net profit of about 10 million, and with all the unrest about the take over from the american guy and dvid dea=in about to sell is 14% stake in the club, i think it might prove apivital moment for both man u and arsenal next season..
by durks on May 11, 2007
Look ryt i aint a journo i dont get paid i get told to write an article on the possibility of henry leaving okay i havent said it is for drfinite but im sure he will be. hopefully your kind loving mothers have bought u up to say thing and if not nothing at all yeh! look i dont give a shit about my credibility if you dont like it then piss off yourselves so take a hike if you haters wana talk shit! or even beeter yoyu start writin then see how many nice things you get!

I'd expect this fact-less wishful thinking from a 13-yr old, not someone already 18. Your facts are wrong (Gudjohnsen left one year ago, not two, and the move was not a big money move -- Chelsea dumped him.) Spanish tampering is commonplace and means nothing. Henry is under contract. He was injured. When he was healthy, he was the most effective scorer in the EPL -- 10G and 5A in 17games. C Ronaldo can only wish that rate of production. So where is the logic of Arsenal letting him go for any price? Even a swap for Eto'o or Ronaldhino, the only kind of deal which has some equality, to it, makes no sense. Eto'o is coming off a far more serious injury, so even though he is younger, his future is more in doubt than Henry's. What do you all drink or smoke at White Hart Lane that makes you Spurs posters get into such inane arguments?
by jimbo on May 12, 2007
i take it you like Henry then?
by Leong Him Woh on May 16, 2007
I think he might like to look for new challenge.

henry is leaving for liverpool. im not sure what will happen but lyk ruud van nistlerooy he will be wasted if he moves away to a big foreign club lyk barcelona. I fink henry and wenger both unsettle themselves. The fact that it is only really the players holding the team together and not the trophy cabinet as recent big winnings have been far an few between of late for a club of Arsenals stature, is also creating instability. if he goes it will be 18 million, and i hope he stays in the premiership. i fink arsenal would become more of a team without him,, eitha that or they buy another player of his talent but that for them at the moment is impossible. Wenger knows that balance in the is important and he may let him go to create this. He may also take the money he can get for him at the moment because by next year he will have decreased in value
