All the signings are good future prospects with raw talent. the only thing now Wenger should do is to buy two players; a powerful fast winger like Babel or Malouda and a prolific striker like Huntelaar or Eto'0 fils. That team can win the premier ship next season which we badly miss.

eboue is ivorian played in the world cup, djourou is swiss played in the world cup, niklas i s danish played for is national team, i think that counts for something and i dont see or hear from anyone that Kerrea who is english has been drafted into the england b team. so pls let talk about football and set aside nationality

Renato. Brazillian player from Flamengo anybody know anything about him? I watch the Brazillian league occassionaly and he looks very good to me quick and skillfull but most importantly strong.

...but match them against another team...Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea or in the continent, Real, Barca, AC Milan, Inter etc. Thing is, all Arsenal youngsters look good or will look good in future and on paper, they are individually good. But as a team, they still look lightweight against their competition in the EPL. Worse, they dont look like they can stand up to the competition in Europe. Anyone of the above is no match for Kaka, Eto'o etc etc etc. So having faith in Arsene is one thing. But believing the kids can deliver is something else. I dont believe it, which is why I think that if Arsene dont sign someone good, this team will fall apart.

I read somewhere in this website one of thw authors said that the reason why Manchester United succeed is because they keep improving. Silvestre, John O'Shea, Park, Darren Fletcher, Richardson are all internationals but they are all not good enough to be automatic choices for SAF. Eboue, Sandeross, Djourou, Diaby and even Bendtner have represented their country, but I think like O'Shea, Fletcher etc the fact that these youngsters are internationals is no measure of how good they are. Fact is Arsenal need enforcements and these youngsters still need time. In this day and age, time may not be on Arsene's side. Also, even if these kids all become internationals, they may not be good enough to match Man U or Chelsea in future.

I am sick of Arsenal fans picking on Eboue because it seems to be the fashionable thing to do. Yes he is not perfect but who is at that age, he is though probably the best young full back in the premiership if not europe and yet the way you insinuate that a guy who couldnt even get into a championship team for a significant part of the season is better then him is laughable. Its really disappointing to see fans getting on the back of key first team players i.e. Henry, Hleb, Eboue because of temporary poor form or the need we have to join some sort of bandwagon that apparently they are not good enough even when they have proven time and again that they are, no wonder we are known as the worst fans in the country. Perhaps we should support our players instead of ridiculing them so quickly

Did anny oif you watch Arsenal play this season?! We had over 10 chances a game!! Just add Henry or Van Persie and we'll easily get 3 goals a game. I think we need to back the team but it's ok to say that some players might need to be changed. Julio might be wearing the red and white but i think we can all agree he should go home. Hleb? He's had a couple of seasons, looks good, skillfull... he's not cutting it. If we could swap him with a ribery, i'd be happy with our squad challenging next season.

of the 3 new young gunns you have mentionned, only one will be "new". As you said, djourou played 30 times, eboue more. This article is about 2 years old...
by crybaby on May 18, 2007
young guns mean younger man. below 25years age. you cant understand?
by eric on May 18, 2007
Young guns has never meant under 25. And the article talks about them as if they are new additions to next season...

eboue the best full back in the premioership possibly europe? Are you having a laugh? as for young guns how old do your players have to be, to be called that?
by all guns blazing on May 21, 2007
this trio should fire up arsenal enough for them to start getting on the score sheet more often
