May 19, 2007, the FA Cup Final between Chelsea against Manchester United at the new Wembley Stadium and 89,826 in attendance.

This highly anticipated match was not disappointing (at least to us Chelsea fans). Both teams were on the defensive and both teams attempted to score, but the goal would not have it – it was an extremely long game of ball possession ping-ponging between the two teams going into 30 minutes of extra time.

As proven game after game, Chelsea FC would not be Chelsea without the superhuman efforts of John Terry, Frank Lampard Didier Drogba and Petr Cech. It was with Lampard's set-up that finally yielded Didier Drogba’s extra-time goal. There was a mid-air charge and an amazing flick of the foot, and Chelsea had won 1-0. Watch the replay in slow motion and you will be equally awed as his foot dismisses the ball right into the net.

The new Wembley is now blessed. Congratulations Chelsea and thank you!
