Finally, we reach the peak of this season's European football with Milan or Liverpool to be crowned as champions. The 2005 final was a tragedy for Milan's fans, a fact that will add fire to this season's final.

Both teams rely heavily on their midfielders and often play with only one striker. Carlo Ancelloti will be hoping that Andrea Pirlo, Kaka, and Clarence Seedorf are on fire. These three are the heart and soul of Milan's tactical scheme. They have what it takes to bring trouble at the opponent's defence and are also capable of scoring a lot of goals, especially Kaka who has netted 10 in this season's Champions League. Rafael Benitez really should think about how to stop these three. I believe he will assign Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso to do the job.

Liverpool also rely on the midfield but attack a lot from the flanks and deliver crosses into the box. So, it will be Milan's midfielders' creativity against Liverpool's wingers. Milan will have to pay attention to their defence; Paolo Maldini, Cafu, and Allesandro Nesta are good players but I think they will face a lot of problems with Liverpool's speed and acceleration through Gerrard, John Arne-Risse, and Dirk Kuyt.

On the other hand, Liverpool will have to worry about Milan's creativity and their talented players, including opportunistic striker like Fillipo Inzaghi.
