LONDON (Reuters) - Arsenal captain Thierry Henry will miss Wednesday's Champions League game at Hamburg SV after sustaining a minor foot injury in training on Tuesday.

The France striker will not travel to Germany for the Group G opener against the Bundesliga side, Arsenal said on their Web site.

Henry's absence will be a major blow to last season's finalists, who have already been struggling domestically to turn their possession into goals.

Arsenal have yet to win and have only two points to show for their three Premier League matches to date. They have scored just two goals -- one of those a Henry penalty in Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Middlesbrough.

Manager Arsene Wenger has included teenage forward Theo Walcott in his 18-man squad, though the main attacking duties are likely to fall on Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is available having served a two-match suspension in European competition.
