wonder why United and Chelsea hate liverpool with articles like this. Gloating for nothing.

I am a Liverpool fan myself and I am amazed at this article. Are you seriously baffled as to why the likes of Chelsea & United dance in delight at our loss? My God, words cannot even begin to express my incredulity at this nonsense. We are going places? Are we? The way I see it we are standing still, we won the European Cup the last time and finished fifth. Since then we managed to get 3rd and close a huge gap on Chelsea. Thie year we finish 3rd again but the margin between us and the Champions is back to where it was 2 years ago and we lost the Europan Cup. What places are we going to exactly? We have no idea if this will make us stronger and I am sick to death of people billing the next season as the big one, where we finally come good and undoubtedly these are the same morons who will pipe up about the season after that when we fail again. I agree with Mikey, it's no wonder United & Chelsea hate us with this bravado. Every year we say it and every year people want us to fail for being so arrogant. Let's j

I bet you were leaping around your living room with delight when we beat chelsea to the title. I think not! When Milan beat united in the semi you dished it out no end. its called rivalry you muppet!

The so called greatest fans in the world who turn up to a game with no ticket to get in ahead of their own fans who legitmately bought tickets. Blame the authorities, blame the police, blame everyone but yourselves. As per Heysel and Hillsborough you still cannot take part of the blame. The greatest fans in the world? The biggest bunch of hypocrites in the world. I'm glad you lost. MILAN! MILAN! MILAN!

Pity the wonderful 'support' doesnt happen during the season on a wet weds in Barnsley, unlike Newcastle, Tottenham, West Ham and Man Utd Liverpool only seem get it in finals and home matches.True supporters follow their team everywhere, regardless

Liverpool supporters I know rubbed it in every time Man Utd lost this season, especially after losing to Milan in CL and FA Cup final. So I think much of the hate is coming from the other side. Man United doesn't get a break from either L'pool or Chelsea, I'm fed up of it. At least we've won something. So I'll let my team's achievement do the talking. Stop whining. Have a nice day.
Well said Shane. You're the first sensible Liverpool fan I've come across. The problem is- until Liverpool can produce results more frequently, especially on domestic front, and not keep banging on about 5 times or 18 "league" titles, there will be not much respect from rival fans.

...you seem to have an issue. Well, here's a tissue. You wanker. Glory glory Man United - we've got you in our sights

one of the reasons i cant stand the present day liverpool is their permanent whingeing about the cash which CFC and Moan U are speninding....benitez has blown a 100 mio quid... if he had bot ronaldo, drogba, essien and rooney instead of a mix of nohopers, has beens or never will bes liverpool would not be 20 points behind in the league...like wenger, rafa has no plan B..his is keep it tight and pray that stevie g has an idea....wenger s is keep passing it eventually we ll pass into the net... the measure is the championship and u are miles behind us and unfortunately man u .... ps without gerrard u would be behind spurs... now thats a thought which should\ scare u...how patient is the guy?/

Gerrard put it best... Scousers and Mancunians just plain don't like each other... I always shout on British teams in Europe, but I don't burst into tears if Leeds/Liverpool/Arsenal lose. There's not much point in having rivals if you can't feel good about them getting taken to the cleaners.

well done to liverpool and united! im a city fan and united fans should be proud that they are this seasons best team in the country by proving it over a season!! also well done to Liverpool! 2nd out of all the teams who qualified! Whatever we say we arnt going to agree...but postings like Wxxx w... w... cant really be well thought out and im neutral! And before you attack city i know we aint real good:( but so what i love my teams as do you but sometimes you gotta give credit to teams so that when you do have issues they get taken seriously. Well done United well done Liverpool

You may have finished second in the Champions League but, United faced AC Milan in the semi final and they only won because United didnt perform, 3-2 aggregate score line and a disappointing second leg. The only reason you got into the final is because Chelsea were poor. You seem to be throwing too much praise on liverpool. You also reckon because youre having financial imput, that youre going to all of a sudden mount a challenge for top spot. Yet, you are gorgetting Manchester United and Chelsea, who are country miles ahead of you, will be spending the aame amount of money and progressing just as you are, so for you to improve that much, is highly unlikely and Liverpool will be battling with Manchester United for the signatures of Fernando Torres, Dabid Villa and Samuel Eto'o, do you think they will go to Liverpool, over the most famous, well known and current champion team? You can state anything you want in your feeble attempt to bring a little pride to a has been team like Liverpool but, the Premi

Dont be daft, liverpool are the oldest of rivals and ac milan knocked us out, i ciould not of give a toss who won, weather it was liverpool or ac milan i did not even watch it, dont flatter your self by thinking we are so bitter over liverpool that we wanted you to fail, like i said could not give a toss, we got a trophy for the season, chelsea did the cup double, and as for kluas what he said is right, i dont know if you liverpool fans are aware of this but over the last three years, you have spent the third most in the premiership, no guesses who is first but its totenham who are second, man u thanks to us not spending as much as we sold last year are well downb the line, so stop moaning about transfer money there are only two others who spend more and no one is going to keep up wuith chelsea... so you are actually second in the real spenders league

This site is full of crap, I read here before a few times and it can be likened to childish fans posting in forums. You need to know how to write news properly. Write it so it doesn't sound like on-sided biased garbage. Take a look at the Times, the Independent newspapers and learn how to write decent articles. Talk about facts. Liverpool finished second, thats fine. They play most of the season with emphasis on the Champions league where as more entertaining clubs played for all trophies. Liverpool are years off being a contender for the English championship. They are worse than United of 3 years since and they probably have less to spend also. Another worrying thing for Liverpool is they can't attract big players, I don't mean big as in Peter Crouch either. I expect this type of reading in forums not from what looks like a pretty decent and established website.
