Arsenal have no money as the loan repayments on the new stadium take up so much of their income - all you have to do is check out their audited accounts available on their website. If they get taken over they might well have the cash to splash which is why Dein pushed for the takeover - he knew that the writing was on the wall. IF Arsenal do not make some signings and Henry leaves then they will struggle to get a top 6 finish let alone top 4. Personally, I think a takeover will happen but if it will be in time for next season is debatable.

Err..maybe because Arsene is still on holiday and all the transfer are still very much on 'spotting the target' phase. Arsenal scout are still scouring the globe, looking at the best talent before making any rash decision about splashing the limited cash. And with Spanish Primera Liga is still ongoing, Arsene will wait for the league to end before making any transfer deal for La Liga player.
