Tevez would be a good aquisition for any club, however it'll take money to get him, and theres the rub Arsenal aint got none!. How about those crocodile tears though,Henry should be an actor...oh yeah he is VAVAWOOOM!
by john smith on June 24, 2007
i c anelka as the 8/10 rumour and tevez as the 4/10 . arsenal do not have 30 mil to spash out on 1 player
by Charles Barungi on June 24, 2007
This young sharp and visionarly stiker will be the best replacement fo r Henly, if Arsenal fails to secure a signature for Babartov or Anelka.
by Redtop on June 24, 2007
EssexIan should be a journalist, because he knows nothing, makes up s*** & ends up looking stupid. Henry just moved for 16 million, reyes will be going for 10 million & Aliadiere has just moved for 2 million. That gives Wenger 28 million & a total of 38-43 million, depending on whether his original budget was 10 or 15 million!! Spuds on the other hand are signing Bent at a ridiculous fee so they look like they are spending big when in reality Bent's arrival is due to Berbatov leaving for a big club!!

yeh i will luv 2 c TEVEZ IN A NUMBA 14 SHIRT for the gunners. im a big fan of him and the gunners and since the hero of arsenal and my best player has left my favourite team then i will b havvin a big cheesy smile on my face if the young bullet tevez joins us.
by klaus on June 24, 2007
there is aschool of thought that roman has already a large stake in MSI and in essence own tevez...now that would be fun...drogba and tevez upfront....
Your a deluded fool if you think I'm wrong, look at the facts before you engage in conversation. Who have you let go...who have you bought in?, Why has Dein gone?, Why did Henry follow?, why has Wenger practitally stated 'this is it!'.......Big ambitions are one thing, paying for them is something entirely differen...mug
by Essexian on June 24, 2007
Apparently you had a war chest of what was it 40million BEFORE Henry left, why wasnt that spent trying to keep him, instead of selling a player who was worth 30million last term?,and why did Dein think he needed US investment to compete with the top two, if Arsenal are so damned flush with cash??????
by Nangoye stehen on June 24, 2007
wenger can make anelka the next henry or byond that
by torben jensen on June 24, 2007
if he's leaving for a bigger club it wont be Arsenal then. Unless you mean a bigger debt.
by furkin ada on June 24, 2007
Use you brain mate, all arsenal fans are under 12 and no nothing about football. if they did theyd know that henry is just the rat leaving the sinking ship. Arsenal will be bust within two years and your glory seekers fans will all be supporting chelsea where half of them have gone anyway.
by Alex on June 24, 2007
wasn't Henry a replacement for Anelka in the first place?
by crowing cockrel on June 24, 2007
the only reason henry was crying in that sham of a press conference is he couldnt belive his luck that he was finally getting out of what in modern terms is known as EXODOUS from the rag head stadium as did moses
it does'nt matter who they say is going to replace vavavoom teves, torres, trezeguet or berbie coz there SKINT what is it about having no money dont gooners understand, all this money they keep saying they have got through sales of henry ,reyes, campbell, pires aint there because its gone to pay off their debts already
by Mark Sofocleous on June 24, 2007
I am an Arsenal fan and I wish Arsenal would buy tevez I am not to sure about Anelka because what if he does what he did before? Tevez is young and could develop into a good player at arsenal and as could arsenal target ryan babel who would also be a good signing
by spaticus on June 24, 2007
I dont think arsenal will completely collapse overnight. To think that is quite naive. But what you twunts have to realise is that its not just the sale of Henry that has us spurs fans rubbing our hands. We were doing that before this piece of trivia came up. The cold obviouse facts are that WE are on the up up up. To disagree with that will reinforce my view of arsenal fans being blindly ignorant. The other fact is your team are slipping further behind the top two year after year. See you mid season as we pass you falling away to the mid table place you Soooo have reserved. Oh btw Berbs to arsenal?.......Ha Ha Ha..(laughs long into the night).
by tanj on June 24, 2007
Kieran richardson to spurs would be perfect. He's not getting much playing time at Man.Utd and doesn't look like he'll get much next season too. Spurs NEED a Left sided midfielder, he's a young up and coming english talent that keeps with the Spurs tradition under Jol. This would be a perfect fit!..

So arsenal have failed to win anything in the last two years. (whilst getting to two finals) yes this isnt good for a big club, yes it would be nice to win something every year. but yes arsenal are in transition. The players from the double seasons and and invicibles have slowly depleated, as all do. some for pastures new, some because they past their prime, and others because they were simply carrying too many injuries. you cant lose that many players and not suffer. a new team needs time to gel, time to create its own identity. arsenal have slowly been doin this over the last two years. they have continued to play attractive football. this last year they ripped many teams apart, but simply refused to score. as fustrating as this may be it is a very rightable problem. but it would appear this team is beginning to find its feet. next year i expect arsenal to push on, mayb they are not ready to mount a full title challenge, but i think they will be in the hunt for much longer. there is too much talent in the

by Noyd on June 25, 2007
Trezeguet £7m and Babel £6m. Not Anelka. Tevez to real or inter. West ham relegated. Monkey on it.
by shaun on June 25, 2007
arsenal can sign all 3 if the board gives us a lil bit more fukin money
by kev on June 25, 2007
if they don't sign a good striker then i don't think there going to make it to the champions league, spurs will be in the champions league or even Bolton, i would rather see spurs or Bolton in the champions league.
by Carl on June 25, 2007
Kieran Richardson to Spurs - You can bloody have him. Hands off Tevez he's ours!!!!
by Fairley on June 25, 2007
