A number of sources are claiming that Carlos Tevez's move to Manchester United has not quite been completed.

Sportinglife.com
reckons any move will have to be looked into very carefully in terms of ramifications over the legality of the Argentinian's original move to the Hammers. The Premier League accepted in April that West Ham had terminated all agreements with Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian - and will keep a watchful eye on any transfer to ensure that the club keep their promise.

A Premier League spokesman said: "As far as we are concerned any deal to take Carlos Tevez away from West Ham has to be done directly with the club.''

Now I have in the past said some harsh things about Craig Bellamy - well, we all have, haven't we? However, in purely footballing terms, he is a talent and I guess that is why a number of teams are hoping to save him after another tempestuous stint, this time at Liverpool, has left him heading for the exit door.

Sunderland
's Roy Keane is showing interest (Daily Star) and you have to feel if there is one person who should be able to snap the fiery Welshman back into shape, mentally if not physically, then it would be Keano. There is, however, a small matter of the £10m Liverpool want for him. West Ham, like Sunderland, have apparently offered £6m - let's see how this pans out. Bellamy to West Ham 9/10, Bellamy to Sunderland 6/10

Florent Malouda is edging ever nearer a move to Chelsea and the purchase of a player for actual cash, as opposed to all those free transfers. He's apparently costing £13.5m of Roman Abramovich's money (various sources) . Never one to need persuading to open the Russian's purse strings, Jose Mourinho will no doubt be after few more new names to boost the Blues'  bid reclaim the title.

I guess signing the 27 year-old French international midfielder is a first step towards bridging the gap to Manchester United, but is still some way short of the £60m+ of talent Sir Alex has invested in. It's 10/10 Malouda to move to Chelsea, and 10/10 Jose will add more lines to Abramovich's bank statement before August ends.

Manchester City's new boss is known to the whole world as Sven-Goran Eriksson but for the sake of my RSI-ridden fingers I will refer to him as simply SGE. Apparently SGE (told you so) has expressed an interest in one-time Spurs target Johan Elmander of Toulouse. Now this guy is supposedly rated at £9m, but then how can sides only be offering £6m for proven Premiership goal-scorer Craig Bellamy? I don't get this money thing;  the prices for players seem to bear little or no relevance when compared to each other. Don't get me started on the Thierry Henry transfer! Anyway Swedish international Elmander has also been linked with Rangers, amongst other sides, but if Toulouse are after a king's ransom for this relative nobody, then he's going nowhere. 0/10 that anyone will pay more than £5m for this guy.

Arsenal and Real Madrid are doing the valuation dance right now over Jose Antonio Reyes. The Gunners opened with an £8m valuation, Real president Ramon Calderon then did what we would all do, and halved it to £4m (for those who are mathematically lacking). We now have an uneasy stand-off; sooner or later one side will blink and my money is on Arsenal, who have no interest in the Spaniard coming back to North London. Real to catch Reyes for nearer £4m than £8m - 10/10

SGE is also after Bayern Munich's top Paraguayan talent (not much in the way of competition, mind) Roque Santa Cruz (Daily Star), who is something of a cult figure in Bavaria. The 25-year-old striker is sure to be under pressure at Bayern following their masterstroke capture of Luca Toni, so may well be on his way to the Premiership. I can see him fitting in well at City and answering some of their goal-scoring woes. 8/10 Cruz to the blue half of Manchester.

Big-haired Argentina defender Fabricio Coloccini is said to be attracting the attention of Spurs boss Martin Jol (tribalfootball.com) as he seeks to deal with a leaky defence so that Darren Bent and Co don't have to score twice as many goals just to earn a draw. Having seen Coloccini in action on a couple of occasions I would urge BMJ to reconsider because the shaky centre-back makes Ramon Vega look like some kind of defending deity. 10/10 Coloccini would like to play for Spurs, 0/10 that he will!

Tribalfootball.com have been very much maligned in the past for being very inventive in their style of rumour-mongering (they even make me look professional, joke!). Their latest offering may or may not be true, you decide. Cardiff City are looking to sign Robbie Fowler - there, I said it! Oddly enough, it could happen, but only if he turns down the offers from Celtic and Rangers. He may still have a year or two in those legs - the question is, does he still have the stamina?

Liverpool legend Fowler is said to be among the 1,000 wealthiest people in Britain and this should make contract talks even easier as he is more than likely to be driven by desire and not cash, which in today's money-driven footballing market would be refreshing. 2/10 Fowler to Cardiff, 9/10 Fowler to either Celtic or Rangers, where he will play for one season and score 30+ goals against the sub-standard SPL opposition.
