any one of our failed signings would have been a star at the spuds. inamoto, wreh, jeffers, all not good enough at arsenal, all good enough for spurs, watch Berbatov freeze this year. SSSShhhhh you angry, bitter yido's!!
by Olly on July 11, 2007
What are dribbling on about? Berba is already showing signs of being a more complete striker than Henry and this season he will prove how much more he has to his game than your recently departed legend.

who cares about them dickheads in the new death star. their eyes are to big for their head and now they are facing the reality of not having a pot to piss in and all i hear from them is wining and moaning and making up excuses and the season aint even started. im glad that so far all they can manage is a waiter from croatia and all the other rats jumping the ship quicker than they can say "id never leave arseholes because we can win everything" typical gooner scumbags who the majority will probably switch to chelsea mid way through the season because things aint going their way. well they deserve it, where are the arseholes who kept bleating on about thiery henry never leaving the club blah blah blah blah blah, for some reason all their mobiles are switched off and they aint coming back on ! year after year all ive heard is about how arseholes are the biggest club in north london, true spurs fans have sucked it in and never moaned, well theres a storm coming from n17 and it looks like lightning and thunder.

Why would a Spurs fan see an Arsenal headline and rush over to make a silly childish comment? Don't you have your own pages. Can I also take this opportunity to congratulate Spurs fans everywhere on your winning the fifth consecutive summer league (the one based on mouthing off as opposed to winning games). This must be at least the tenth season in a row when you will definitely, absolutely, without a doubt finish above Arsenal. Roll on August....

arsenal are doing ok they will win a cup and we are geting palyer in like silve and sagna so arsenal are ok and will get a cup/.
by Dr Mog on July 11, 2007
Now I admit that I know next to nothing about Bakary Sagna, and there have been questions about our need for a right back, as well as our lack of cover in central defence. However, I note that Sagna is allegedly 6' 4". That attribute alone gives us a much greater physical presence at free kicks (attacking and defensive) and who's to say that Aresene doesn't see him as a central defender? Only Arsene knows.

Kanu, Oleg Luzhny, Gilles Grimandi were not failures. Kanu was fantastic for us as was Oleg and Gilles. Most of these playes rs "Arsene Know" mentioned had a lot of ability as shown when they left the club. The likes of Inamoto, Boa Morte, Vivas, Cygan have shown they have the ability after leaving the club.

the only 'storm coming' from N17 is the gastric wind generated by all you potato pie eating spuds oafs/missing links who rush like flies in the summer to feast upon a fresh pile of dog5hit when an Arsenal article is published. Go and give expression to your (justified) inferiority complex on your own moronic boards, you silly little oaf.

YOU ARE SHIT,YOU WILL NEVER BE IN OUR LEAGUE YOU DIRTY BRAINLESS WANKERS.
thats a strong arguement you raise. Very poetic. How many Degree's do you have genius?

I agree with you Anand, we need patience because looking at what other clubs are doing in the transfer market, one would get worried. But there is still time and plenty of good players out there who other clubs haven't shown interest in. Let us wait till 4 days to the c;lose of the window and if no serious players are bought by that time then there will be reason to worry. We cant stand another bad season.
you can't just say Arsenal will win a cup as if it that easy. We have quality players and quality players win cups but other clubs have good player too and mind you good and experienced players. May be we will win the Carling cup but the league, no way! More good signing; then we can win the league..
by Aloise on July 11, 2007
I strongly feel that the Arsenal board is letting down its die hard fans by not signing the quality class players that we feel we need to win a championship let alone not confirming the coach`s stay. The board is only interested in how the Highbury sale or emirates stadium ;on making Money with least expenditure.Arsenal fans should push for it i feel i deserve more Dont you

How did you manage to learn to use a computer, or did your carer turn it on for you, eloquence not a strong point is it? people like you give moron's a bad name
by Kalu Onuma on July 11, 2007
There is nothing bad going on at Arsenal; our nerves are giving in because we have for several seasons deified Henry, without seeing the good in the team. my take on all the fuss about our losing out, because of transfer activities elsewhere, is that the lads we've got would ceartinly show class and humiliate the big buyers. besides, AW said he'll bring in one or two quality players; we've seen him get one, can't we just trust him to get one or two more? we are surely on course....

Typical Spuds fans, bleating on about thunder and changing times etc etc. What bollox! They haven't come close to finishing above us or winning anything for donkeys years. This year will be no different I promise. The FACT is that our squad is better than theirs, period.
by Frustrated on July 12, 2007
I am tired of hearing empty promises. Da Silva may turn to be a goal poacher and Sagna may become frightening defender. Even then Arsenal badly needs well established winger in the structure of Cr. Ronaldo and Tevez to mesmerize opponents. We remember how much we missed Robert Peries and the Olde Freddie not to mention constant runs of Reyes in the wings. Realistically, I expect 3-4 lean years for Arsenal.

I can't suppress a smile when I hear yet another Spursfanatic say something "shows signs" of being the best. Berbatov "shows signs" of being more complete than Henry. Really? One year, 12 goals in 33 games (a year when Henry did 10 G in 16 games) and you can convince yourself that Berbatov is anywhere near Henry's league???? LOL! At the same age, TH14 was scoring about twice as frequently. This is not to knock Berbatov -- I like to watch him -- it's knocking the loose grip on reality of fans who grasp at any straws as "showing signs" they will be dominating. Ferguson knows the gap between the top 4 and the Next Four, and so does Martin Jol -- at least, I think he does. Only thing makes me wonder is whether they are doing enough to be able to reduce their "Goals Surrendered" to 50% of last year. If Spurs do that, they have a great chance to be in the Top 4. But they won't get a 30-35 GD surrendering 54 goals.
