Tapping up? Nonsense. Whoever the idiot is who wrote that piece needs to check facts first. Rangers have not made anything public about the offer except to say we have withdrawn it. Rangers have not spoke to the player or his agent at any time. Kilmarnock have been very public with every offer Rangers have made, they are the ones making the affair public and are trying to "tap" up other clubs to offer for him in order to push up the price of the player. If you are going to write an article at least attempt to be impartial you moron.

on his day Dyers can be a world beater, his ability is unquestionable..his brain..debateable...but why is Alladyce allowing him to move on?, is it his salary reported to be 80k per week (doubtful), if so you can Spurs out (55k max). Big Sams interview seemed to me to suggest he was happy to see the back of him

Thanks for the moron comment, those always amuse me

I am finding it increasingly funny how every player West Ham are linked with a few days or weeks later so are the Spuds. Why is this is it coz they lack a competant scouting team or because they dont have a mind of there own? Even more frustrating are the comments about the Hammers tryin to buy everybody. I ask every body to actually think about the amount of money the Hammers have generated from sales of the deadwood, its actually £20m . so if anything we have broke even and replaced by much beta players and done some serious business. £8m for Reo coker wen he cost us only £500k wot a result. I think the anti hammers campaign shud stop now, no one has moaned about Manure spandin £50m on 3 players, no body really moaned wen Chelsea tapped up Cashley Cole. Also remember this is a new west ham new players, manager and owner and start looking at the positives, so far we have signed 4 players 3 of them from these shores... whateva club can say that???

Your piece on the Rangers/Naismith transfer bid is an absolute disgrace, and it's ill informed inaccuracy is appalling. Firstly, there has been no allegation of tapping involving Rangers and Naismith (or anyone else for that matter). None whatsoever. Secondly, you should really get some informed sources on what bids have been made. Rangers have offered £1.8M for Naismith, which is over three and a half times what you stated that their offer is. If you have a source in Scotland feeding you this rubbish, I suspect he is a supporter of celtic fc. If you are going to run a serious and factual website, you really have to ditch sources whose main form of sustinence is to lie about Rangers, and come to think of it, lie about their own club too.

"Not wishing to fan the flames on the issue, surely Killie have every right to get what they think they deserve for their star asset? Apparently the only offers to date from Rangers have been on the thin side and there have also been allegations of ‘tapping-up’ from players and officials. I understand that Naismith, a lifelong Rangers fan, wants very badly to join Walter Smith's side - but at the same time he has made a name for himself at Rugby Park. Therefore surely Killie deserve a more respectable bid than the £500,000 reportedly offered. What do you think?" What are you doing but fanning the flames. Check your facts before you go into print as you are representing a sports reporting fraternity. Rangers have offered what they think is a fair price for his potential £1.5m.....a lot more than the £500k you are stating.

I think the West ham muppett should go and buy some brain cells - Spurs were "linked" with Dyer long before WHU were any anyway it's 99% speculation so ignore it. We don't rate him , you can have him but don't see wht Dyer would make that move unless WHU are offering shedloads of cash

Sky and the BBC had no such claims of tapping. Your credibilty drops by the second. Why make up lies? It just means that folk like me will not visit your website again, and will seek a site that at least tries to give us facts. Very poor.

Once again anybody criticising Rangers is a moron!!! This player scored 20 goals last year and was the young player of the year ahead of Scott Brown. He has also made his full international debut hence his stock has risen even further. Celtic paid 4.5million for potential in Scott Brown yet Rangers are offering a paltry 750,000 up front with add on's to take it to 1.5 million, a disgraceful offer. If you don't think so then what about 150,000 for Stevie Smith or 1/2 a million for Boydo or let's go the whole hog and give you a cool million for wee bazza. None of these players have won any awards last year yet I bet you value each and every one of them in the millions the same as Killie do with Naismith. If you want him pay for him if not go and offer paltry sums of money for players with no potential or proven record in the league you play in. Excellent article, the truth, maybe that's what's upsetting the rangers fan's!!! [quote]Tapping up? Nonsense. Whoever the idiot is who wrote that

Donut.

Ok, can i come to Mark's defence, i read this stuff most days and it is supposed to be tongue in cheek, i don't think he meant any offence, and it is any consolation a few weeks back he upset Celtic fans with a similarly piece. I think Mark you should have added, as you pointed out, that the small bid was only the first bid. Chill out Rangers fans and also claiming someone is a Celtic fan because they say something less than positive about Rangers is childish.

KEITH Maybe the scout comment from AntB wasn't the best informed - although other points made were fair. I have respect for Spurs as they buy English and have good vocal support unlike the smallest club in London = Chelsea or the corporate boys at the Emirates. But the one thing that winds me up is the big opinion you have of yourselves! Why? You can't back it up and you all shout Jol out the minute Arsenal score - fairweather mugs most of ya - but not all. As for people joining us for shed loads of money - I say jealous! Berbatov will earn big bucks at Man Utd or Chelsea at the end of the season when you finish 5th again. FACT - modern day footballers are interested in money not charity. Get used to West Ham buying players that you can't afford. Credit to Bent for not doing just that - good player and he will do well for you. But when we stabilize and can offer UEFA footie like you can - the good players will choose £15k - £20k more a week to play for us. Enjoy being ahead of us for a couple of seasons. Loo
