Fans have been saying: "Hey Arsene Wenger, you grouchy git, buy another player for heaven's sake. Who's going to cover the left midfield?" An odd question in my view. You see, Wenger doesn't necessarily need to buy a player to cover the left wing; he just needs to carefully analyse his players' ability and then work it out.

Simple really - you just place Aleksandr Hleb on the left, Emmanuel Eboue on the right wing and Bacary Sagna in the right-back slot. Why is Hleb on the left and Eboue in midfield, you ask? Well, I believe he is a successor to Freddie Ljungberg, and he's got more skill, pace, and of course he is younger.

Sure, Hleb may not be that young, but he is fairly skilled at finishing from acute angles. He can cut inside and shoot at tight angles.Plus, he is the perfect player to meddle with the opposition's defence on the right, with Gael Clichy at his back. The pair make the perfect right-sided combo from defence to attack, and then Hleb crosses for  Eduardo or Robin van Persie or Emmanuel Adebayor to score.

Hleb and his usual form, will provide Arsenal with more scoring options

Eboue, in fact, has excellent crossing ability, blistering pace and strength. In fact, he reminds me of a much stronger, more powerful, defending version of Ray Parlour. Then we will see the Arsenal midfield like never before - Eboue, the new Ray Parlour on the right, Cesc Fabregas and his excellent passing and wonderful technical ability, and the new Arsenal skipper, Gilberto, with his powerful build, capable of clearing the ball to safety if the opposition launches a counter-attack.

Hleb and his usual form will provide Arsenal with more scoring options. It  sounds like a title-winning side to me. So there is no need for young players on the left, or new players on the left, just the usual pack! Or unless  Arsene wants to spend on players - it's up to him.
