But we don't want him, Dyer that is!
by Boleyn Bill on August 06, 2007
We don't want Dyer either, maybe Newcastle can use him in the reserves and he can travel to see his family during the week?

Carl Hoddle was indeed very poor indeed!

Once again an amusing piece, agree 100% with your Steve McClaren views, what a joke! How did he ever get the job!!!

Don't need Dyer,don't want Dyer.

There is no doubt that Kieron Dyer is a very good player when not injured and his mindset is right. Unfortunately that isn't very often of late. Injuries must have dented his pace a bit as will his age - 28 I believe. Irrespective of what Allardyce has said, Newcastle have behaved shamefully towards WHU and in particular the player. Agreeing the price with WHU, allowing the player to go for a medical and agree personal terms, and then increasing it by £2M! And this is for an injury prone player who wants to leave! What a bunch of muppets. And everyone has a go at WHU for the Tevez affair and how we handled it!! I sincerely hope that Kieron Dyer finds a good club and he recaptures his old form but I would prefer it not to be at West Ham.

If I was Carra I'd listen to that prat rabbit on with his please please please pleas and tell to FECK OFF

I hope Curbs and Big Sam kiss and make up. Dyer and WHU deserve each other. He is certainly not wanted or needed at the Lane. tick, tock, tick, tock.....where's our left winger? only another few days to go....we are leaving it a bit late.

"ludicrously under-qualified." Could not agree more. Just watched a re-run of England re-tread v Brazil and gave a run down on the quiffed-one to my American wife. "So why is he manager then?" quoth she. "Football politics" was my reply. Stick to your guns Mr. Carragher.

We ahev so many better younger and fitter attacking midfielders than Dyer it would be criminal to waste his huge salary and a place in our team on him. Much better suited to WHU.

i'm a tottenham fan and i think the trnsfer of gahly is off because we will need him for the were in the all the cups and what would happen if there is injures problem we cant use the youths we need him and he is good and one more thing get rid of mideo he is shit
by silva.foxx on August 06, 2007
Dyer - not needed... give Routledge a run. Gahly - talented yet disgusted at his behaviour... get rid. Mido - just doesn't put in the work. Remember Chelsea in the cup... leading when he came on and he just made no effort. Still need a left-pegger yet Malbranque looked sharp against Torino... missed out on Gamst.

Totaly of subject but ive just been reading an article with C Davies saying he wants a move to Tottenham as he has a lot of friends there. I think the togetherness of our squad is a real bonus. Players who gel on a personal level as well as a football level can only be a good thing for keeping everyone happy. Everyone pushing in the same direction is gonna help us challenge the top4. But lets see what a few say come Jan'.
On the subject of Dyer though. I hope to god we dont buy him, not for that money anyway. If we could have picked him up for around 4 quid maybe but i dont think he's worth the money it would cost to wash his kit. Left wing?..not gonna happen, if it does i will eat my monitor. I've said all window we wont but if we do i would rather it be a leftsided midfielder rather than an out and out winger. Not enough defensive cover for another winger in the squad. So, someone who would tuck in and play in Bale's(when fit) runs but with a left foot woulda been nice.

Newcastle are a disgrace for what theyve done to west ham. They did exactly the same to villa last year when milner was just off the motorway in b'ham to sign the contract they pulled the deal

I am totally against Carragher coming back from his international retirement. I mean, Carragher has made himself available for England all these while but was never put to good use. England had been neglecting him no matter how excellent his Liverpool form was. When England are hit with injuries to key defenders, they kept selecting players such as Brown ahead of Carragher. Even if Carragher is selected, he has to play out of his preferred central position. And all of a sudden when they are now out of defenders, they come back begging for Carragher. In my opinion, Carragher should snub them right away without further contemplation. Afterall, this is not a team that is worth consideration to play for. It is better for Carra and Liverpool if he stays focus on his club career as we are looking to finally mount seriously challenge on the league. Forza Reds. Hail King Carra. YNWA =p.

I agree that Carragher's form for Liverpool last season was excellent, but for England he has been woefull. Wes Brown is as bad. The only adequate centre backs are Terry, King, Ferdinand and Dawson. With Terry and King out injured, I'm sure the other two can sort it out. Steve (anything manU or 'boro will do) McClaren is a complete Yogurt Top.

At this stage I would have to ask is there anyone in the entire world who sees the continued appointment of ludicrously under-qualified, over-idiotic be-quiffed England manager as nothing other than a complete catastrophe? Most of us in Scotland think he was a marvelous appointment and the only man for the job!!
by tito on August 06, 2007
sod carragher, if your going to sulk and act like a spoilt brat that you shouldnt be allowed back. steve mclaren may not of made the right choices(he didnt) but it's his choice and you have to respect that. Chuck micah richards in, he's looking even better this season.

If i was a Scot right now i would be feeling fairly smug also.
Carragher made the decision to quit England and it should be left at that. He is tremendous for Liverpool, one of their best players, but has never really turned it on consistently for England. Probably because he doesn't get to play in his proper position. If he doesn't want to play for England thats fine by me and we just have to get along without him.

everyone says that dyer is a bad signing will you don,t know what you are talking about spurs are trying to build a stronger team he is a world class player if he was not then he would not be a england player.............
