I like your comments about Mr Rommerdahl's comments, very amusing

Well i wouldn't take Cassano as he is a showpony, Davies would surely prefer Spurs over Villa (not disrespect meant), and as for Dyer he can join Ipswich again.

Your points about UEFA are spot on

Rommedahl is a overrated tosser. Clearly miffed that tiny Arsenal players ran him ragged and beat them on their soil. "Other teams will beat them"...ha-ha-ha what a loser.

Spurs are not foghting with West Ham for Cassano. He would be fifth in line, and there trying to sell their current number 5. If you want to be credible - keep it real.
by madlondonmale on August 07, 2007
so it must show how weak ajax are if we fought tooth and nail and won the game? last year we would have lost that game but not now the kids have all grown up,premiership get ready for a battle because we will not surrender this year is war!!!!!!

If Curtis were guranteed a starting spot in the spurs team I can understand your point of it being a no-brainer, however Villa are a team on the up and with a shortage at the back, him not having to move house, and the inspirational Martin O'Neil at the helm, I think that Curtis is going to have a few tough decisions. Gordon has also a few tough choices, Villa would seem a more safe option with a long history in the premiership unlike Sunderland however they are closer to home and Roy Keane is also a pretty inspirational manager. I think that choice will be tough too, as a Villan I'd be excited to see both join, but having one of the smallest squads last season and seeing 10 players exit I would be happy to see any signings donning the Claret and Blue!

i think we would do good this season i dont think we are too small i think are right side is strong bt left is weak i think we need to sign quasmara and curtis davids that would make a big difference at arsenal

wouldnt mind cassano at west ham,hes a young player and im sure that if curbs can handle bellamy,he can put cassano on the straight and narrow

How much salary would Cassano want, and out of the Top 5 Premier teams who would want to sign him. I think Only Man City or West Ham would sign this type of player.

a) Why would Spurs be looking for another striker? b) Ballack said yesterday that he want's to stay at Chelsea c) £6m is what WH offered to NU for Dyer in the first place, so they are hardly about to just change their mind d) A player cannot be transferred twice in the same season e) Michael Dawson is quite possibly ahead of Wes Brown in the England pecking order - or at least he should be!
Can the powers that be please update the villa badge to the current one? keep up boys!

west ham will buy and pay anybody who want to come to westham....not many though.

Firstly, who is Curtis Davids? Second have you actually seen Quasmara play or are you basing your "expertise" on a YouTube compilation and general internet hype?

What rubbish we already have one of the best strike forces in th Premiership why would we want Cassano.

This column is a tongue in cheek piece, and all the rumours are from other sources, so if you disagree with them or want to call them utter nonsense a) i am already doing that in the piece as a whole and b) thats the point
What rubbish we already have one of the best strike forces in th Premiership why would we want Cassano.
I agree, once again can i confirm that these stories are from the sources that i have quoted, not from me, Spurs do not need Cassano, that is clear

Solid reports coming from Italy are saying that Cassano is in talks with lo Blucerchiati (Sampdoria) to take him on a season loan with Madrid covering his wages. He would be 5th choice at Spurs quite easily, maybe even 3/4th at Samp who have Montella, Bonazzoli and Caracciolo on their books
Scottish Al - Thanks for clearing that up, maybe Sportigo should sign you up - not sure what the fee would be...
by ohhmattymatty on August 07, 2007
i think spurs will sign cassano cos he is a LW, and west ham are missing out on all the big players. we will struggle
by Slabber on August 07, 2007
The author has cited the Times as the source of the rumour that Spurs have been linked but the article in the Times does not mention Spurs.
