Jens is a liability, Boruc is needed, splash the cash AW!

We need the kind of creativity that Quaresma could bring but i don't think we are interested anymore, not at that price. When Taarbt and Lennon are back we will be fine!
by beth on August 12, 2007

have arsenal got 15m to spend on a goalkeeper? you've reported this as if it's done deal, why? remember folks this story was in the sunday people, hardly a bastian of truth and accuracy and there's the there's the fact that the chicken bhuna's have already bought a polish goalkeeper this close season from legia warsaw.

Good piece again Mark

The kid has amazing and unlimited skills that can dismantle any defence. Plus he will be able to put more flare into our attack. Anyways, Liverpool winning the league. What i saw against Aston Villa, was great and shows success in the future....

What are the sources for Spurs' interest in Quaresma?
by Mark (author) on August 12, 2007
What are the sources for Spurs' interest in Quaresma?
Hi Slabber, the source for this, is as quoted 'Various', it is mentioned on football365.com, and various other sites, just type in Quaresma and Spurs and you will see what i mean, by no means as strong a source as the others, hence i only said there have been mutterings.
So there's no recognised news source, but you've gone with it as your lead story? I can see a pattern here. Spurs must be good for business...
by klblues on August 12, 2007
Spur should get a better manager if they want to break into top four. No point spending 40 to 50 million if the manager lack first class tactical ability.
It's Jol, not Joel.
He's signed for Real for £18.3m...
by Guruji on August 13, 2007
Yes I agree....Benitez should sign Quaresma. We still need the extra spark in the midfield and wings...Come On Benitez...dont let the Chelski or other teams to get him..
by Mark (author) on August 13, 2007
It's Jol, not Joel.
Well spotted Slabber, its odd how many people are pressing the 'sack jol' button already, its only one game! Surely Spurs fans agree?
by az on August 13, 2007
I agree he has been one of the best tottenham managers for the past two years and one bad result u want him sacked
by Boomtownchav on August 13, 2007
So you hate mARTIN JOEL. Good grief Im glad the school holidays are over soon, extra English lessons for you. You obviously dont go to Tottenham, maybe for the odd league cup game, but im sure if Martin Jol met you he would only pity you. The club has grown under his leadership, the results have improved, were in Europe, we have one poor result and your bleating like a sheep with foot and mouth, bugger off and "support" Arse-nil

no,no,do not buy Quaresma, wad u need now is a right winger, liverpool had enough of left wingers, kewell babel and benayoun is there to provide,no worries for left flanks, worries are on right flanks, wad we need is a fast winger, david bently is a good option
So there's no recognised news source, but you've gone with it as your lead story? I can see a pattern here. Spurs must be good for business...
Slabber, i thought that by making it fairly clear that the 'mutterings' were by no mean concrete facts but more likely rumour,i was making it clear that it is by no means fact. I mean even if it was in The Sun would it make it any more real? or even more of a rumour. I am not exactly the first person to claim that Spurs are interested in Quaresma, its all over the place, why not visit all the other websites that make this 'claim' and give them a similar grilling, you will be up all night if you were to do so, but i urge you to do so. Today's rumours will hopefully be more to your liking
I agree he has been one of the best tottenham managers for the past two years ......... He's been the ONLY manager for the last two years...Has to be the best (and WORST!!!). lol. It's great being a gooner.
by Terrence on August 13, 2007
We don't need him. We will win the premership hands down!

whoever liverpool intend to sign will became chelski.
by Shiggsy on August 13, 2007
I'm sick of reading all these crappy reports about how much Liverpool have spent. We've managed to claw back most of it with sales, I think you'll find we've spent the same as Fulham. Ryan Babel £11.5m Fernando Torres £20m Yossi Benayoun £5m Lucas Leiva £5m Charles Itandje (approx £2m) Total £43.5m Craig Bellamy £7.5m Luis Garcia £2.7m Djibril Cisse £6m Scott Carson £2.5m Sinama Pongolle £2.7m Total £21.4m So, we've spent a grand total of £22.1m, a mere dot against the open cheque book that has been Alex Ferguson (£54m BEFORE Tevez)
