i know you said we would struggle against Sunderland and you got that correct, we were awful, i am thinking a draw is very likely, but i hope not!

Fair point, we do have a hoodoo at Fratton, and i also agree with your position on Rossi. But Tevez will inspire us to an easy victory!

Moyes is taking us in the right direction and i think we might even nick a win, i'll be there, cheering the lads on! 2-0 Osman, Johnson (pen)

Any team will make Spurs struggle at the moment. However, this is a home game and the players may play with a bit more bottle. Bent and Berba to score but holding the lead may be the problem.

United away to Portsmouth, City at home to Derby. Sunday Manchester derby at Eastlands... I think City could well be 8 points clear of United when I sit down for my Sunday Dinner ?

As ever, after one bad (albeit inept) performance, the knives are out and everyone is waiting for Spurs to have another false dawn so that they can laugh. Newsflash... it is not going to happen. Much as everyone enjoys Spurs failing, we are here to stay and Saturday was just a blip against a very well organised team. Arsenal were no better, at home, against equally poor opposition, but a dive later and nobody mentions their plight.. why.. because there is no plight, just like there isn't at Spurs! Yes, I would like to see Jol be brave and play either boateng or Taarabt (or both) ahead of the mediocre tainio and zokora, because we do need creativity, but even with that admittedly bland midfield that started on saturday we can roll over most teams on the basis of our superb attack. And just you wait for King and Lennon to come back, they'll really shake things up! 4-2 tonight, (we're bound to concede with Gardner and Stalteri in the team)... oh, and Robbo is well and truly back, he was sublime v Sunderland, s

I think it will be a tight game, but if our guns are firing, i think we will clinch it 2-1. Lets hope Kaboul performs as well as on the weekend and even more so I want to see some of Tarrabt!

Clyde you just as bad/mad as Mike Parry, we have one bad game, and we played as bad as i have seen us, and all the sudden we are losers, and as for the author i would like to ram your prediction down your throat, " WHO ARE YOU"

Get a life, i am football fan who made some predictions, thats all, who are you? 'ram your prediction down your throat' interesting comment, but why such anger? why can't you just have a sensible comment like other Spurs fans who have disagreed with me, which they are free to do, but at least they do so in a constructive way and not so much like the animalistic style you have chosen to adopt.

Derby will make it tough for us tomorrow but fancy City for 3pts regardless. Important lesson for us - if we can keep clean sheet and break down defences at home it bides well. Also think we will turn Utd over - which will just add fuel to the fire when it comes to us City fans getting carried away far too early.

are you having a laugh mate? All Spurs have managed to do is spend a lot of money. You are one of the many Spurs fans still under the illusion that you are a big club and a force to be reckoned with. You pipped everton to 5th place due to Everton drawing alot of games, they lost no where near as many as you! when you manage to break into the top 4 then we will talk, until then 2-0 tonight to the Toffees

ahhh man! i realy feel that this will our year! altho i dont want to get carried away, it just seems that theres summith in the air! if we beat derby tomorrow i really think we can give the scum a great game on sunday and take all 3 points. tevez to get injured tomorrow.
by the way, i wasnt directing that at just u mark, i was directing it at everyone who has slagged us off in the last 3 days
It'll be a tough'un tonight. ManC have goot their tails up, and as Sven is such a fire-and-brimstone kinda coach, and a master of tactics, I'm a tad worried. Still, we aim to surprise a lot of people this year, and Pompey got one on Saturday. Up 'til now, we're unbeaten in the league!
Your right mate...there is something in the air, its called bulls***! The funny thing is now that Shinawata has been arrested and they find out you have used dirty money to purcase your players then they police and prem league will step in and it will all be unpicked. Hopefully a points deduction too! Wake up and smell the coffee, City are a spineless team who have won nothing for decades and will never win anything more for decades. Get back to Division2 where you belong!
by the way, i wasnt directing that at just u mark, i was directing it at everyone who has slagged us off in the last 3 days
no problem i guessed it was to anyone jumping to conclusions from one match, with Lennon and King back the picture will be different and then donkeys like Gardner can revert to being back on the bench.
Chris, you say that its because you drew so many, and that we lost more... well surely that means that we won a lot more. Also, we scored a lot more and anyone would agree we were far more exciting to watch. Yes, we've spent a lot of money, but this is the first summer where we haven't had a net profit in a long time... it is called intent! I never even said anything about finishing in the top four anyway, I am aware of how difficult that is, all I said is that there is no false dawn. And as for illusions... here's one... you standing a chance tonight!
