Would Spurs welcome Sol Campbell back to the Lane? I think there's more chance of Greaves and Gilzean returning. Forget this rumour, we dont want this guy within 100 miles of Tottenham.

It's a cunning plan by Jol to get the fans off of JJ's back?, I mean who else could you hate as much a Campbell?
by SwedishGoon on August 19, 2007
Its a silly question, Arsenal would never let him return. Snowballs chance in hell. And most fans dont want him back either.

He deserted us mid-game having already cost us 2 goals & didn't even have the good grace to apologise for his behaviour or standard of play at that time. we let him go on a free as he was going to pursue his career abroad & yet he then goes & joins Pompei. So he's a liar, doesn't admit when he f*cks up & he's too damn old!

I would not have sol back even if he paid us millions he can rot in hell for all i care.

When asked "is it nice to feel wanted by the bigger clubs?", what the hell is he supposed to say? Of course he is flattered, anyone would be, but as long as Blackburn wants to keep, he will stay - he loves it there and is in a good team aswell. I would not be surprised to see Blackburn enter the top six this season, and with a good run in Europe aswell.

Okay, Comolli buys and sells players and MJ just like a chef cooks up the ingredients. As Mido commented, 'the politics at Spurs is bad for the club'.I have been a bit disappointed with Jol's tactics in the past but I do genuinly believe that any decent manager would struggle in the present structure and that MJ was picked because of his PR skills rather than his coaching skills. If Jol wants to keep his job, he must accept the situation and work with Comolli as he signed up to this agreement in the first place. We know that any decent manager wants to bring in their own players and a quality of manager would not work in the current structure. My solution would be to bring in Clive Allen as assistant coach with a view to replacing Jol in the future. He works closely with the reserves, understands the nature of English football and most importantly will work with the Board as this is the key issue. ENIC have implemented a middleman to overlook transfer transactions to protect their assets. This is why Spurs c
Interesting you should say that, i made it perfectly clear in the piece that the Campbell story was my own opinion, i do not write the headlines, but if you look on news now there is a story about Campbell interesting Chelsea, which has no sources whatsoever, at least i am honest enough to be quoting my own opinions. Which is half of what this daily piece is all about.

what about modric rumour
what about modric rumour
Yes i saw that, but i have talked about that one before, what do you think? is he worth that much money?

Mark, that's possibly the most ridiculous question I've ever heard on a football board. Whilst you'll hear small sections of support given to Mido, Ghaly, Carr, Vega and a whole host of other recent Spurs misfits and "traitors", the one thing we unite on is the unanimous and almost pathalogical hatred of Sol Campbell... In fact I'd wager a good deal of his recent mental problems have been down to the savage and relentless barracking he gets at lane. We don't like Sol and Sol doesn't like us.

lets give plenty more when Pompy visit the lane, he deserves everythnig thrown at him, no respite, no forgivness, no surrender!

Other than the obvious reasons for not taking him back how about another 7 - King, Dawson, Kaboul, Gardner, Rocha, Dervitte and Mills. How many more centre back should we have?

what dya mean work with his own players , he spent 40mill on players got rid of nothing wen people like jj gardner stalteri ghally etc have to be shipped out... he stands there with his arms crossed doing nothing. when your team is 3-1 down at 1/2 time @ home u need some changes.. what does he do nothing... worst tactitian rubbish at picking teams... we need someone who shouts at the players lets them know that they can tackle players and run with the ball. we need ramos or klinsman... and we need a playmaker definatly ship out jj he does nothing apart from waving his hands about and passing it bak to robbo!!
On what basis would you appoint Klinsmann?, and Ramos has won La Liga has he?, no he's got Seville to about the same position as Spurs are in thier respective leagues, so your proposal is to replace Jol with a new manager 3 games into a new season after allowing the said manager to spend 40 million?, yes another rocket scientist amongnst our so called supporters, well thought out matey, back to your playstation and let us carry on in the real world in peace
well smartty with our squad better than arsenal's would you expect us to finish 5th.. no ramos has won the uefa cup twice.. last season finished 3rd in his league. look at sevilles squad kanoute is there best player after alves but hes gone anyway... they shout at their players and tell them what they are doing wrong.. jol does nothing... levy's given him 6 games and expect at least 4 wins.. well he can dream on man utd arsenal and liverpool yeah were gonna beat them with his tactics aren't we.. wake up please look at our squad then look at arsenal's theirs is crap the diff is they got a good manager arsenal are nothing without wenger spurs are top 4 without jol

by Essexian76(not the gay one) on August 19, 2007
its you who must be in dreamland old son, as I said do you think that Levy would out Jol after three games after spending 40 million?, the meeting that was so highlighted must take place at least once a month, which if things were going OK you wouldnt turn a hair over.Jol's going nowhere unless the Dutch national team want him, then thats a different proposition entirely, but as the saying goes you may regret the things you wish for, if Jol was to go.Kilnsmann's unproven and would require time to forge a team, and Ramos would want to bring in his own players leaving us where?, ridculous scenario when we've made so much progress under the big man

This isn't even a 'proper' rumour! It's come from a rubbish website that NEVER carries a story with any truth. What a complete load of tosh.

Why do you post absolutely stupid headlines like this ? Surely you want to be taken seriously? with schoolboy stuff like this -no chance.
