Martins has a 13 million release clause in his contract doesn't he? I can't see old Cod-face letting him go without a fight to a competitor for a Euro slot. Berbatov is more likely to come to City: his best buddy in the whole world is Petrov (and Bojinov , though injured, is also Bulgarian), and Berb. is mad that Spurs didn't get Petrov. On the 19th, Anelka said in Le Journal du Dimanche, "même si le club intéressé ne dispute pas la Ligue des champions" i.e. lack of euro football this year is not a deal-breaker if anyone wants to approach him... Additionally, somehow, I can't see Anelka playing for Ferguson, can anyone??? http://mcfctrueblue.blogspot.com/

yes i can really see spurs selling Berbatov to Man Utd and getting Diouf as a replacement, get a life, a few little rumours and every tom, dick & harry start adding there little brainwaves, Berbatov is going nowhere, Diouf will not be signing for spurs in the next decade or 2, give it a week and the rumour mongers will have moved onto a different team, probably crisis club Man Utd after losing to spurs on sunday after spending 50 million. dont tell me i can already guess, Man Utd will then be looking to offload Ronaldo to real, Scholes to Liverpool and replacing them with the free scoring hayden mullings & hossam ghaly.

Yeah, time to stop reading Sportingo, I think. I know this is just 'gossip', but there's so much cr@p in there I think I need waders. Diouf? Don't make me laugh. And United are going to get linked with every striker in the book! Plus, considering that Jol is 'supposedly' on the verge of being sacked for daring to suggest that Berbatov should be sold, why on earth would we sell him?! COMMON SENSE PEOPLE, PLEASE!!

Berba to stay. and even if he left we would not get diouf. this is pure speculation.
dream on, Berbatov to Man city, ha ha ha, 3 wins and they think times have changed, lets see where you are come next year. Ive also heard ronaldinho will sign for spurs next week cos hes "friends" with ledley king and players always move to clubs where there "friends" play. what next?
A slight problem there, methinks!
They wanna go and by Diouf but you say "no, no no".

Yes Appiah is a world class player and we would love to have him ay Upton Park, as for Berbatov going to Manc U and spurs getting Diouf i would love to see it, just desserts for the unloyal supporters calling for Jols head but it wont unfortunately happen.
..."Berbatov to Man city", I said "Berbatov is more likely to come to City [than go to United]" IF he was going to go, and one of the factors would be his buddy. Do I think he is going to City? Nope. I think he will stay at Spurs and good luck to him, nice guy. No, players do NOT always move to be with their friends, but then again, I never said they did, did I? Er, times have changed, and it's got nothing to do with three wins, as the next three could as easily be three losses. You'll never understand City fans self-conscious irony will you, just like United don't get us either. We're 'avin a larf moi sahn, and we're 'avin an even bigger larf that you think we are being serious!

Martins will be better than Berbatov this season I think
by Tony on August 21, 2007
What does any1 even think the Glaziers can afford to go another £30m into the red or do you Berbatov will be a freebe
by Mooney on August 21, 2007
If he's not going now, he's going at the end of the season when Spuds get a fresh new serving of UEFA Cup for the 2008-09 season. There's more instability at Spurs than Arsenal now HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
sorry citeh fans, i take it all back all for your honesty, im just so used to listening to hammers fans talking there crap its hard to grasp reality.

this is rubbish i am 100% sure berbatov will not leave in THIS transfer window but not so sure in the long term and i am convinced jol will get sack and ramos will be new manager which should be good
