Great strike, that only beat Robinson because of the nick it took off Tevez's shoulder. Hence Ferguson actually said last night it was Tevez's goal because of the difference it made.

Proud of my club, of their approach, their support...if only We 'got lucky' sometimes...frustrating end to a disappointing week.

Teves was offside and interfering with play, offside no goal.

last season, when you guys won the title of course i am deepl saddened. but i am relieved that you guys played beautiful football during your times. goals raining from everywhere. a breath of fresh air from the chelsea monopoly. but now, you guys are looking more desperate than thierry henry's wife. i really fear about the future of man u. as if the sticks you guys get from liverpool fans isn't enough...

This article suck.... Manure rode on the referee luck.. Think they bribed the ref
by el on August 27, 2007
Hmmmm..... It seems that whenever we go to old trafford we suffer from 'correct' refereeing decisions.
stop begging gav. You really are a sad lot. Replays show that the ref made the correct decision. What I've been reading/hearing from the spuds is a sign of desperation. Forgive me if you're blind, otherwise p!ss off
by jgm on August 27, 2007
there was no way spurs would have been allowed anything out of that game. A Utd loss would have ended the title race and ensured Chelsea walked the run in. No money to be made on a one horse race.

Last season Spurs V Bolton R Keane sent off when spurs 3-O up. Standing erect on own goal-line, ball comes in hits chest first then forearm, Ref gives straight red and awards penalty to Bolton Wes Brown yesterday, last man, ball strikes left chest first then forearm whilst diving to his left. Premier League please explain to the world the distinciton betwen the two incidents. I can, predjudice and corruption !! Show case champions only required the other 16 PL clubs there to make up the numbers
It was not a penalty, it looked like one, smelt like one, but it wasnt one,Yes your right it was the same as Keanes v Bolton, where he was sent off but the ref was wrong on that occaision, and correct this time, dont know how though, perhaps he got very lucky, or even that he was very good!, but the elite sides always get the rub of it dont they?

Yesterday game & chelsea game last week clearly shown that EPL is all about making sure the top 2 teams to be protected at all cost. So who is saying EPL is clean?

Why was this biased column published?
by dibble on August 27, 2007
true manx fans would totally agree that spurs were the better side and should have got something from the game but times are desperate at old trafford
by hmmmmm on August 27, 2007
you guys are a joke, it hit his cheat from 1st glance to last the ball hits red, grow up
by Beamo on August 27, 2007
Why don't you united fans f*** off it was a pen but hey you never get anthing at OT,because you pay the refs of you are worst then the scum down road and some team in south london
by DAVE on August 27, 2007
I bet this biased bigit celebrated when the ball crossed the united goaline by at least two feet a couple of seasons ago..maybe I am old fashioned but I like my team to win fairly..and whats more big mouth if you follow the balls dijectory when coming of cheater Brown you will see that it scewed to one side which could not possibly have happened if it had hit his chest as he claimed

You truely are a complete mug. No one can understand what your writing! Sort your english out for fuck sake, you pikey asylum seeker!
by hilda on August 27, 2007
sorry to say it but we were shit spurs gave us a footballing lesson and deserved all three points fergie out fergie out
by LC on August 27, 2007
Wow, there are a lot of idiots here. Wes Brown's looked a penalty but wasn't. I think the Berbatov one is dubious because , IIRC, he got the wrong side of Vidic. i only saw it once or twice on the actual game replays though, so could be wrong Ye, Man U didn't deserve the win, but they got it. Take heart from the performance Spurs put in and try and push on As for all the Man U fans slating your own club...... what are you talking about??! Great squad, great manager, just a bit of a blip while your new players settle and players come back I really do despair sometimes

7 penalties awarded to the visiting side in Old Trafford over the last 15 years. Says it all really.
