As a non-barcode living in newcastle i have to listen to endless rubbish about how good steven taylor is. Actually he is alright, but no better. Quicker than most but not rapid pace, decent in the air, okay positional sense and his passing is no better than average at best. He'll have to come a long way before he's a good international centre half. Micah Richards tho, is top draw.

Are you joking? Clearly you have a hard on for Taylor but he is nowhere near good enough to dislodge the current pairing in the national side nor is he close. Captain? He must be related to you or something. Carra had to step down due to his lack of opportunity at International level despite him being a better player than Rio and Taylor wouldn't even lace Jamie's boots so what has you thinking he will get in? You should stop writing articles in your dream-like state

that lad's a cheating git. The occasions when he's hadnballed in the area and then tried to con the ref in to thinking he taken the ball full-on in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. A poor actor, but a int. class centre half? My 4rse.
