Yet again we have knee jerk comment from someone obviously dazzled by the bright lights of the teams in pot 1. AC Milan are not dead certs for an easy passage through Group D. While I would concede that they are favourites I very much doubt if anyone at Milan was overjoyed when they drew Celtic. Given that last season Milan only managed to scrape through against us in extra time (last 16) seems to suggest something that all external commentators miss. That is, that the major teams in the SPL can and do hold their own. Do we have aspirations of being a pot 1 club? Yes, but pigs can't fly yet so we will have to wait. In the meantime we will provide a stern challenge to any team. Indeed if you look back at the record Celtic have a home in Europe it is exceedingly good. Away not so good apart from some notable exceptions against AC Milan, Manchester Utd and Barcelona. All I ask is that journalists and commentators do not get blinded by the big guns and show some respect for the teams with great pedigree, history

arsenal to start with 4 draws, what crap is written on this rediculas site, what are you basing the fact that arsenal will get those four draws is it that the mighty teams we are playing will stop us, what crap

as usual Barca remain favourites but given their last couple of campaigns and score lines we'll see who upsets who. i expect rangers to keep the SPL alive by focusing more on that but Ibrox is a fortress to any visiting team.

If the last game was at home against Roma, i'd agree with you but it's away. It'll be a tough game. I just hope we have it wrapped up by then. Don't forget Samual Eto's injured(2 months out). If Henry takes a while to settle into the team Rangers can use that to there advantage, especially at Home. Everyone said last year that Man Utd & Benfica would advance but Celtic's home form got them through.

Thats is the dumbest prediction i've ever heard. Do you actually watch football? Did you see Arsenal's 5-0 aggregate beating handed out to Prague in the qualifiers. Stick to writing childrens books mate.... Or should I say reading them. also shakhtar to egde out Celtic? Ha... oh ur a clown.

Well shock and horror is the order of the day as Celtic are completely written off in the Champions League again.....NOT! What must Celtic do to prove they will not be easy-runs in european football? We had it last year when we were told how Man Utd would cruise by us...what happend?...we beat them and qualified and forced them to battle it out on the last game to qualify. AC Millan needed an extra time winner at the san siro to scrape by us. We are undefeated at home in Champs league football in 3 years. So hopefully once again we will put the doubters out their misery.

Celtic could be on the first place... We'll see. Milan is a strong team, but they are too old. This is last 'good' Milan seson, and I think that Celtic can make the start of Milan downfall. And don't put PSV in front of CSKA Moscow, russians are very good home and play better and better from year to year.

Milan have been too old for many seasons now: Maldini, Costacurta, Stam etc. etc. but who are the European champions?
