Celtic have an injury doubt over striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink ahead of their Champions League Group F clash with FC Copenhagen tonight (Tuesday).

The Dutchman suffered an ankle knock late in their 2-0 win over arch-rivals Rangers and is struggling for full fitness.

Manager Gordon Strachan said on Monday: "He's sore today. He was able to play on for the last couple of minutes, but the adrenalin was flowing at the time.

"Since the adrenalin isn't there any more and he has settled down, the ankle is a bit sore and puffy. We will wait until tomorrow morning but if he can't make it, we've got people like Maciej Zurawski and Derek Riordan.

"We'd lose a good player - but we'll have another one coming in.''

Opponents Copenhagen held Benfica to a goallless draw in their opening group match after eliminating Dutch giants  Ajax in the third qualifying round to reach the group phase for the first time.
