This is your chance to take part in an exciting new on-line Poll. We here at Sportingo are attempting to find out just who is the BEST EVER PLAYER in the English Football League going as far back as you can remember, from the much-loved old First Division right up to the Premier League that we know today.

We are asking fans of each and every football club to name their ONE favourite player in the pursuit of finding the best of all time.

And we are starting by asking fans of each PREMIER LEAGUE club to pick the ONE player you think is the best to have ever played for your club. Over the coming weeks we will also be asking the same question of every CHAMPIONSHIP, DIVISION ONE and DIVISION TWO clubs to make their selections.

Then we will then pick the 20 top selected players and produce a shortlist for a public vote, at the end of which we should have a representative selection of the player who has been voted by ALL football fans as the BEST PLAYER EVER.

So take your time, thing long and hard about the player who has thrilled you the most the player who has displayed all the virtues and traits you think best sum up your club.
