ronaldo is the most under rated player

Peter Crouch has to be that man. His gangly appearance seems to detract from the fact that he has great feet, and in the right team, could be absolutely deadly
by Pauly Bhoy on October 08, 2007
Has to be Mikel Arteta fantastic all round player.

Without a shadow of a doubt, it has to be Richard Dunne of Man City. He has been consistantly one of the best defenders in the premiership over the last few seasons and is still not given the time of day he deserves, by the media or fans.

Steve Finnan - Solid as a Rock

it has to be shevchenko becuase that legend has almost single handedly put Chelsea back to where they belong fucking "also rans" and for that we should all rate him very highly!
Peter Crouch has to be that man. His gangly appearance seems to detract from the fact that he has great feet, and in the right team, could be absolutely deadly
Why on earth do people always say that about Crouch? It's absolute rubbish. Just because a player is tall, it doesn't mean he's going to have a worse touch than a shorter person. He's a professional footballer, of course he should have good feet. Height is totally irrelevent to your ability to control the ball, and I wish people would stop saying stuff like that. If anything, Crouch is overrated.

would either be Jamie Carragher(one of the most under-rated centre-backs in the world or Didi Hamman who has quietly got on with his job since arriving at Newcastle, was almost perfect at Liverpool and is now doing the same at Man City still wothout getting the plaudits his talent deserves

Got to agree, stole my thunder.. but certainly not under rated by the City fans!
Without a shadow of a doubt, it has to be Richard Dunne of Man City. Sorry Edyboy but to say Peter Crouch is the most underrated player in the Prem at the moment is just simply a joke. And to say He would be deadly in the right team is probably true If he played for Rushden and Diamonds. My most underrated has to be Lescott at the moment the guy has won 3 games for Everton so far Scoring 5 goals and he is a center back.

unbelievable so far this season. His work rate is never a question. While he might not shine in any games for long periods of time, he can always be relied on to give 100% and get down into the nitty gritty of the game.

First of all, the suggestion that Ronaldo is the most underrated player is laughable and the manc that wrote it knows nothing about football. As an Arsenal fan i would say probably Kolo Toure and i think most neutrals would agree but i can see why Crouch's Name has been mentioned also an absolute quality player very underrated.

I have no liking for Blackburn but tha kids finishing is mustard. If he was playing for a bigger side (with less forwards) he'd get shed loads.

Richard Dunne - he's here, there and every** where! City player of the season 3 times in a row - hero for Ireland - might have to watch out for Elano this season tho' ;)

Has to be Nyron like.

As a spurs fan I have to say, Arteta from a neutrals perspective. But Finnan and Matty Taylor run close for 'pool and Pompey respectively. No-one from spurs this season as they are all playing like shite (except Keano, who rightly does get plaudits and his deserved start ahead of Defoe).

I agree with Pauly Bhoy that it must be Arteta. As an Arsenal fan, he is one of the few players from another team that I would like to see in our squad. He and Fabregas together would be unstoppable.

if you've seen him play you know why.
by D.N on October 08, 2007
Gotta be Richard Dunne
by Lelive on October 08, 2007
Span are mad not picking him.

MGP is a player that should be battled over by the big clubs. I'd love him to go to arsenal. and being stuck in Blackburn is causing his underrating. he needs a bigger scene to prove what he can do. Gilberto is the unsung hero in the brazilian team and for arsenal because he gets on with it and does not moan or spend too much time in the papers. he appreciates his job and gives his all. I trully think that gilberto is one of the best pure midfielders in the world and although he is 30 he still has a lot tp offer for arsenal or should he choose to go to any of the biggest teams in the world. Kolo toure deserves a shout again for a great attitude and performances that put him up there with the best CBs of the EPL. I personnally think he is better than john terry who is supported because of the fact he is english. Cheers
At my Club it has to Radek Cerny because if he cant get a game ahead of lardy fuck it Paul Robinson then he must be very very under thought of

agree with you guys about dunne, i remember the days when he first played against the gunners, and thierry would always rip him apart. then in the last few years quietly got on with his job and grew in stature, definitely underrated. Id have to throw hleb in there aswell, the amount of people that have issues with him is astonishing to me, one of the best players with the ball at his feet but maybe a bit more fanfare around him than dunney
