Fine a player as Kaka is (and he's a glorious footballer) I'm sure Wenger will not be able to find room for both him and Fabregas in the same team. And however brilliant Kaka is, why would we want to relegate our own boy wonder to the bench? http://goonergirl.blog.co.uk

Love Ben Arfa, he is one of those players who has it all, but unless he is good going down the middle i'm not too sure what we'd use him for, mainly oweing to the fact that Bale has been superb on the left and we already have two very good forwards who can't displace Berbatov and Keane up front. However, if he can be a central playmaker then by all means i'd love him, though he would have to play next to an absolute Vieira type destroyer and not any of the wimps we currently have in central midfield!

Fabregas ..relegated to the bench, quite the opposite he is on for promotion......happily to the Camp Nou.
by Danny's on October 12, 2007
BUT...... why add to somethin thats doin quite well at the moment, the current arsenal side can play together for the next 8 years with not to many additions and even fewer departures, why take a 35-45 million pound Gamble, even though it isnt really that much of a gamble cos Kaka would fit in like a glove at Arsenal. Look at Spurs, slightly different yet a good example, why add a 16.5 million pound striker to a strike force contnaing defoe, Berbatov, and Keane, why not bring in a talented younster to learn from theese 3 keepeing them happy also. But again if i could have any player at the Emirates that isnt already there it would definately be KAKA.

i would embrase the addition of Ben Arfa - quality in abundance, fast and skillful. Bale would then play at left back - this would mean two quality players on the wing and give him license to to move around the pitch and fill the empty gaps, in the knowledge we would still have the balance and cover of bale.

maybe you should've read what she said carefully! She said Kaka is a brilliant footballer but doesn't see why Wenger would sign him since the midfield is full and Fabgregas is doing a great job and surely Wenger would not make Fabregas sit on the bench. I would like to know where it is she said she doesn't want Kaka on the team or that he is not a great player!

quaresma van bommell and a good defencive and goalkeeping coach
by dave on October 12, 2007
quaresma wont come and van bommel wont come... ben arfa would be a great addition.. from what ive seen ov him he is very talented.. diego would be a good midfield signing if we could get bremen 2 let him go
by tarnvir johal on October 12, 2007
hes a brilliant player and i'd love him to come, but we alrerady have hleb, fabregas and rosicky. Rosicky can play the holding role in midfiled and he could have long range shots and rake up a good scoring tally, hleb could go on the left of a diamond with cesc on the right, and kaka at the top
by jerome on October 12, 2007
There is no possibility that Wenger will spend £ 25 millions or more to buy a player, even of KAKA’s quality. There has been a slight indication from the Arsenal boardroom of such a possibility. However, Wenger makes the final decision, and KAKA at £ 25 millions or more goes counter to his recent player acquisitions. Wenger purchase range is approximately £ 2 – 9 million. With this said, would it not be a great acquisition to have KAKA at Arsenal or even LIONEL MESSI.

Bollocks, its the international week and they just pick something old and repeated what bendtner said before the beginning of the season. Micah richards case was the same, digging out old history and making it todays news. Crap.

I think we should get true wingers because we have not got any so i think someone like ricardo quaresma or jesus navas
by Rotten Ralph on October 12, 2007
Bentner has made no ultimatum and has no plans to leave. Next

I thought Gooner girl was spot on, Wenger wouldn't go for him for those reasons, look at how much more effective Arsenal arewithout Henry, Kaka although not exactly similar likes to play that floating role coming in from the left, overall it affects the teams balance.
by TOTALLY on October 12, 2007
i can tell you know that Kaka definately won't come to arsenal. firstly,we have fab secondly, wenger doesn't want big names to disrupt the teams mentality and thirdly wenger doesn't have 60million to blow.
by Rom Gooner on October 12, 2007
Sorry James, don't know you like but reckon yr absolutely crackers to think Cesc is off to Barca anytime soon. If yr a Spurs fan then I can understand as I would try any sort of bitter comment to my rivals to try and mask the disgrace that my team is currently!! Thought you guys were to knock us out of the top 4?? Ha Ha Ha; got to love yr enthusiasm which such a shoddy team to support!

kaka should come 2 arsenal because we can have him playin and he would like 2 come 2 arsenal kl
by your face on October 13, 2007
first of all... arsene wenger would take it up the ass if he could get kaka to even consider coming to arsenal(seen as they have never signed a big name player in their history) and can anyone honestly belive either player would be on the bench(apart from a girl obviously because they have no football logic). second of all, rosicky playing a holding role... please tell me thats a joke, where do i even begin. third of all im really drunk... ben arfa i havnt seen, and bendtner is the cockiest footballer whos never played at any level ever. oh ya if arsenal keep the same team for the next eight years it would be great... especially walcott, they will still finish fourth, dont get too excited gooners
by kaka to arsenal a joke on October 13, 2007
we have 70 million pounds to spend in january and its true kaka would cost 50 million pounds at least but i am sure as its been posted he would be worth every penny so fingers crossed and hopeful for this move to happen but i know in reality it wont so its just a dream

That's just great! I love it. A girl is telling Spuds fans how the ball bounces! Well, dear Spuds: according to your reasoning (girls don't have a clue about football) I take it you're all a bunch of women, right? I usually don't comment on that crap comming from WHL but this time it was too low even for your standards. And that means something! Kaka will not happen. Period. Respect, Goonergirl! I didn't count the exact number of 'players' the Arsenal would have bought according to the press, so I just take your 85 as a fact. Isn't important either, but: according to the same press Real Madrid would have a squad of 12.357 players, followed by Barclona with 8.749 and Milan with 6.329. Days must be long in the press rooms .....
Hang on, what rumour is this based? because its complete fabrication! Its a shame u gooner twits choose to believe it.
He admires Arsenal. He has already said if he's gonna come to england he'd come to Arsenal because of the way we play. He also likes man-u.
